Laurence Anyways is absolutily one of the films that I love the most. Don't know exactly the reason, but I always cry while whatching it. It's so personal and real that that it moves me somehow. The photography and colors are just perfect, the fashion design impecable and the storyline on point. What else could I be looking for? Social and philosophical issues? Oh, wait, it also have it. Thanks Xavier Dolan for this pearl.

Of course his films are viewed as works by a young person, they feel young, his style has a sense of youth, a jeunesse, to it. But there's nothing wrong with being young, nor does being young make you immature or a kid.
