- I just recently watched Guy Richie‘s TV show of the gentleman. I was enjoying it so much. I didn’t even notice until a few episodes into it how amazing the outfits were so I had to stop everything and write a review of the clothing in the TV show. If you’re not familiar with Guy Richie’s movie universe it’s a fast paced violent gangster world with sharp dialogue, stylish camera work and dark, dark humour. And now with his latest TV show he adds some of the finest men’s clothes to hit the screen.

I love how Eddie started wearing a gold Patek Nautilus once he’d fully transitioned into his new life.
I didn’t notice that detail. Nice. But is that a gangster or an aristocrat’s watch? Either way it’s a rich man’s watch.

Good breakdown. For me, almost all of Eddie's suits fall apart due to his dress shirts being too dark. On two occasions, he wears light dress shirts under his tweed suits and that works so much better.

Sussie glass without a flinch
Everyone did well, but I loved freddie.He brought so much vibes, even though sometimes fustrating. Mr. Johnson and Ms. Glass were quite the character as well.
He was great. Treacherous but great. I think Daniel Ings did an amazing job portraying him. Like you said brought a lot to the show.

I loved your review, I liked the construction of Eddie's character using the most casual jackets and shirts, being a military man and seeing that he wanted to get away from that world to the evolution of the suits when he begins to be more comfortable with the idea of joining the business, also the nod to the fact that there he also begins to smoke cigars unlike his brother , In the scene where they are both smoking but Freddie is smoking weed and Eddie is smoking a cigar that was his father's favorite, I think the choice of color The gray and brown suits were more than anything to highlight the filter that the series has, it has a non-sepia touch but there is something in the games of warm colors that it plays with or I don't know if it doesn't. , Although I would say that the gangsters dress better just putting Susie, followed by Jhoston as winners

Any idea who made that tie (the one you say you want)? Hard to tell exactly what the colors are due to the fairly heavy color grading. Looks like silk, some kind of paisley pattern.

It's a little hard to make any recommendations. Waxed jackets in general are quite pricey. There are a few somewhat cheaper including Thursday who are renowned for their excellent boots. And P&Co. Wayfare jacket is possibly the cheapest quality one but it's still over US$200.

I honestly find the stylist(s) has a fetish for neck wear (ties and silk scarf), for me the ties are a bit too much but for a show like this is very appropriate.
