@@BradBrowning I am in a very deep chasm that involves my best friend, an ex girlfriend, and being used. The story goes like this: My best friend, Marcus was (and still is legally married). He had a female friend, Kim, that liked him (and he liked her), but he couldn't pursue since he was married. He eventually made the introduction between me and Kim and Kim and I slept together and started developing feelings (at least I did). Kim was also going through a nasty divorce from a psychologically and physically abusive ex (and is still going through it). She has a full plate of personal issues, raising her kids, and past drug use along with her exes problems. While Kim and I were seeing each other in a relaxed relationship, Marcus's wife, Brittany was facing a legal issue and she eventually got sentenced to some time for something she did about one year ago. As soon as she (Brittany) was out of the picture Kim dumped me and started devoting all her time to Marcus. She doesn't even call or text me at all. I feel used and upset. I've told Marcus how I feel but he has liked her and wants to be her friend and mine. I want him to dump her, but, he is using her to help him get through the divorce he has wanted from Brittany for a long time, and she is using him for help with her situation. They are getting closer as friends during this period. I want to see them split. I'm mad and don't like being used and thrown away like yesterday's trash. Can you give me some help? Thank you.

@@BradBrowning Brad my ex dumped me because her 15 and 16 daughters don't want her to date me or anyone. From the first time over a year ago when they found out my ex would go back and forth between seeing me and then breaking up with me because her daughters would be mean to her ignore her or become emotional because she was seeing me but this last time they won again and it's been 2 months since I have seen my ex. My ex made the mistake of being roommates with her ex for over 12 years. They had no Romantic relationship at all but she moved away from him with her daughters. It's such a complicated situation. I would appreciate anything you could suggest. I Love my ex and I know she loves me. The situation is so unique it would take a lot more to explain in. I am 48 my ex is 54. Neither of has ever been married or wanted to but we talked about getting married. My ex made me feel like I never Loved anyone before and she said she felt the same way. She would say she only felt like she was truly happy when we were together. I can't believe her children if they Loved and cared about there mother they would want her to be happy. There spoiled brats. My ex has children 4 children from ages 15 to 27. I would love her children and treat them great but they won't give me a chance. My ex's 2 older kids were treated like crap by these 2 children's father and my ex was treated horribly by him 2. He was a loud controlling Narcissist. My situation is very unique. @@ahmadbinomar Hi Ahmad, yup I did a lot of self reflection, therapy to learn myself, change the errors of my ways. The challenge is, my ex reached out to me wanting to talk, I went to his home, we talked and once again, embarked on a relationship journey. 4 days ago, he ended the relationship AGAIN! I should have never gone back, because the things that were challenges (his issues) back then, were still prevalent with him. I had done the work on myself, but he was still stubborn, self centered, demonstrated the "superior attitude", and did not respond well when presented with "hard topics" that involved my needs and wants that I was not getting. Although I was dumped, this time I recognized from logic that this is not the right relationship for me. It hurts no doubt, but I will be ok. Sometimes, the end of a relationship may not feel like it is for the best because in my case, each and every time he dumped me and abandoned the relationship, I left guilt stricken, blamed myself "if I would have only done this , or that", but this time, I realized it was NOT me, it was him, and I did not take it so personal. I am hurt, betrayed emotionally, but I WILL BE FINE.
11 days no contact, I know that doesn’t seem like much compared to some of the comments but it took everything not to call or text. Now I feel like I’m over the worst and feeling better in my own skin every day! To anyone who is attempting no contact- it gets better!! It’s only been 11 days and it’s so much easier 😊
Expect a mixture of feelings from up to down, to complete happiness to sudden sadness, it's only normal. And yes, maintaining the "no contact" rule for 30 days helps a lot. Be strong!

Brad I can't thank you enogh for all the helpful tips you have given us. I've seen all your videos and there was one where you mentioned how to text your ex after a 30 day no contact. Like how to send her a text message. So I sent her a text saying Hey I have a quick question for you. I said I'm painting my bedroom next week. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what color I should get, thank you. Hope you're doing well. Now she was really good at choosing colors because I painted her bedroom and living room 6 months ago so I knew this text would be a great example of how to start talking to her. Exactly 2 hours later she texted me back telling me what colors I should or shouldn't get for my room. She seemed like she was really excited to talk to me or like she missed me. I could tell through texts, but I'm taking your advice to take everything slow like you've mentioned on other videos. So anyway we had a little chat talking about paints and she even mentioned one of her rooms that she wants to be painted. So I asked her if we both could go together and look at some paints at Home depot whenever she gets a chance and can you believe it? she said yes absolutely we can go on Wednesday after she gets out of work. She even asked me if I could paint her room next Sunday and I said yes. I believe this is great start. The way our relationship ended a month ago I thought I would never get to see her again. I'm really surprised that she is down to meet me on Wednesday. Guys take Brad's advice and do the 30 days no contact rule. It really works!!! Thanks again Brad. You are the men!!!!

I tried opening up recently. It’s been 2 months since we had any real conversation so I figured it would be a good time to connect with her. She said she wasn’t ready and I immediately said I appreciated her being honest. She liked that and I haven’t said anything since. We dated for 2+ years. So I suppose more time is needed for her. Parminder Brar oh man that’s literally the same position I was in, It really depends on how long and how connected you guys was together. But generally if you guys have a loving connection that is deeper than lust and like than I believe they will always come back around. In the beginning it’s hard because you are scared they are going to move on but just as much as you are scared they are equally as scared. Nobody wants to lose someone and see the things you have shared with someone given to another person. Anxiety works for both of you guys but remember your ultimate goal is for your ex to feel anxiety and have withdrawals of you not being there. Sometimes It takes longer than others but if you stay in no contact and improve you life and raise your vibrations and be happy, your ex will feel It and don’t want to miss out on it. I agree. The answer is is to move on, especially if your ex doesn't seem to be regretting their actions. Most of the time, a lot of people would move on, but a few would still fight for the relationship, so this all depends which side you're on and what your views are. Make sense? Anyway men and women cheat for different reasons, but if you think your ex is worth it and if there's been a genuine connection between you two before the cheating happened, then try to see the roles that you BOTH played that led to all this mess and see once and for all if it can be resolved or not, okay? Hi Brad. Thanks so much for all the advice. I’ve just ended No Contact. I did it for 4 weeks after an 8 year relationship. My ex sort of reached out (He visited a family member of mine and ended up messaging me about it on exactly 4 weeks of no contact.) I was polite, kept it short and I ended the conversation and let him know I still wasn’t ready to talk. Just finished another 4 weeks and finally messaged him. I kept it short and sweet. Just told him about how I went somewhere the other day and it made me think of him since we spent a weekend there. Followed it by hope you are good and work is going well. He then replied with how much he loved that memory and how he thought it was an amazing weekend. He also said he remembered how cute I looked? At first I thought he wanted to end the conversation and a bit like he was trying to friend zone me, but then he ended up asking me how a family member was doing. With each message I made him wait a good amount of time before replying. Anyway, I made a few jokes throughout the conversation and had the chat about our weekend away memory. I was then the one to end the conversation, but he didn’t read it so it sort of feels like he was the one to end it since he’s not looked at it yet. (I’m guessing he’s gone to bed since it’s late here and I know he has work early.) I’m thinking when he does see it and decides to message or not message, would the best thing for me to do be go back into No Contact? Because now I think he should be the one to initiate the next conversation since I initiated this one? Thanks so much for reading and all the help!

Overall I think you're on the right track, assuming you've done the first phase (30-day "no contact" rule) correctly and basically had set the stage for this second part. Getting an ex back is a process. Im still hurting over my recent breakup..and although Im still really tempted to try to contact my ex..I started to use the notepad in my phone to type my feelings and then immediately delete it so nobody ever sees them. It helps that I can get my feelings out privately.
I understand what you're saying, but each person has his/her own reasons for why they either choose to get back together with an ex or let go totally. You can't speak for them because it's their life, not yours to decide. Granted, not all relationships are meant to be salvaged, especially abusive ones and/or one that involves numerous instances of infidelity, but some are worth saving. This all depends on what kind of relationship you have and if you decide to move on or fight for it. There is no wrong answer on whatever your decision is. :-) Anyway thanks for your input!

Got my girl back after almost 3 months. Did no contact for 45 days. And then another 45 days for slowly getting close to her. Finally we are like how we used to be in our "fourth" meet up. Or almost 80% of how we used to be. That's good enough. Here is my experience : No contact = 45-50 days. First meet up = okay, it was everything I expected. Second meet up (after 7 days) = meh, it went downhill. I opened my heart and said some corny lines. She pushed away my hands. ie. I fucked up. Third meet up (after 9 days) = better than second meet up. But still not good. I kissed her on her cheeks. She was cheerful. Fourth meet up (after 9 days) = woah. It went whole lot better than what I expected. We are almost like 80% of what we used to be. We cuddled. She was super polite this time. I hope I can settle the deal in 5th meet up. Thinking of meeting her again after 9-10 days. What do you say about it? And thanks Brad for everything. It's only possible because of you.

@@RolimPaula it lasted for 1 more year but because of whole corona thing, she went to her nation and both of us lost interest because of distance.She still haven't returned, I think she won't return anymore. Her study is completed. I'm with new girl, going strong with her.

Had 30 days of NC. Saw her in person, acted super confident with good energy. Got a txt few hours later. We met up, spend a good time, no negativity. Don't bring up any issue. Now im not sure if I want to be back with that person.
Right. As I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you. You know your situation and your ex best. Sometimes a relationship can be salvaged and worth the save but sometimes it isn't, especially if there's cheating or some other type of abuse involved. It's your life and it's your decision.

Now I know , I dont want to fall back into the routine ,acting like everything is back to normal and back to the old relationship.. @@nova12332 It eventually faded, we did hook up a couple of times but it faded at the end. There was a lack of her initiation so I let it go. But we still are on good terms and If I reach out there is a possibility to arrange a date or something but I dont want to . I moved on and I will find someone new and build healthier relationship. But I can surely say that Brad's advice does work because you dont display any week, needy behaviours that turn women off to the point that she never wants to see you again. It really depends on your ex and how strongly she made a decision to not get back together. But anyways guys should know that if you are a gentleman and dont take things seriously and personally , act cocky and charming, you will always be attractive in her eyes and she will probably give you a chance. The courtship never ends. It should be all natural. You will be the toxic one if you pursue too much and try to manipulate and force things. I maxed out at 5 days 😂 I’m obsessed but I’m planning to go back no contact today until my birthday on Halloween. Since the breakup I’ve made many changes to life for the better. I volunteer, I’ve lost a lot of weight that I gained during the relationship, I’ve been able to hold onto one of the best job opportunities that I’ve ever had and I go out and enjoy myself a lot more than I used too. Work on developing a more positive mindset. Fear will not help you at all. But if you're still scared, then chances are you're not ready to get him back yet. So again, work towards changing that. Get involved in activities that make you feel good. Exercise will never let you down in that area, so get busy! :-)

Hey Brad so I dont know how well the 30 day no contact rule will apply with my ex. When we broke up some of the reasons were: conversations running dry, not seeing eachother often enough even though that could change, and I was unmotivated for awhile. When she broke up with me she said she was still in love with me and wants me to be the guy shes with in the future. I didnt plead with her or beg her to take me back nor have I seemed angry I just cried and asked her what was different. In addition she said that she still wanted to snapchat everyday. So I'm concerned that if I dont reply to her or dont contact her for a month that she will think in the future things wont be different and that she was right. I've made a lot of progress on myself and have been motivated more then ever to improve myself. I dont know how she will be able to see this and may think that I've just given up on her. One thing I know she'd want is someone to fight for her and to be chivalrous. Would something like 20-25 days of no contact be a bad idea?

It's time to take a look at the bigger picture here. It doesn't really matter what your ex is doing. Chances are your ex is rebounding anyway but the point is you shouldn't be focused on that right now. That's all out of your control. Brad, I've applied the no contact rule as in I only respond when she contacts first. We broke up a month ago and she still has belongings at my place. She is legit at a snail's pace moving out and every 3 to 4 days she contacts me or swings by to gather more things. I understand what you're saying, but each person has his/her own reasons for why they either choose to get back together with an ex or let go totally. You can't speak for them because it's their life, not yours to decide. Granted, not all relationships are meant to be salvaged, especially abusive ones and/or one that involves numerous instances of infidelity, but some are worth saving. This all depends on what kind of relationship you have and if you decide to move on or fight for it. There is no wrong answer on whatever your decision is. :-) Anyway thanks for your input!
Well.... I started this with mine yesterday. I watched another of your videos about the no contact and did what it said about the apology for acting emotional, etc, so I texted her yesterday and did that after not talking to her for a week. That being said, she hasn’t replied to me but hasn’t blocked me or unfriended me on social media or on the phone. She’s still viewing my stories and almost as soon as I post them. The funny thing is....the previous girlfriend texted me recently after no contact for a month (before I watched your videos), and while I was on a date with the one that just broke up with me, and we’re talking again. Sooooo....I definitely have a distraction to keep me from contacting my current ex.

My ex came back after day 30 on a 30 day radio silence. But she kept telling me it's my fault, that's why she left. She left me. She left while I was a work. Now I have seen her twice and same thing. She says im the reson she left. I know she is trying and shows up sexy as hell but she left me. I have tried to lead her softly to apologizing but not takers. Both times she left sobing. :(

My ex cheated on me. When I found out about that I got furious and wasn't able to control my anger. I said a lot of bad things to him. But I still pleaded to get back together. I know I was so stupid back then to do that. But yes, we got back but for him it was just a temporary relationship because maybe in order to stop me from being persistent to get back with him. He treats me like nothing, just a friend whom he's close with. So I had enough of his treatment that's why I initiated to broke up with him already. Before I did NC I said to him that I can't be friends with him for now because I want space in order to recover from what happened to our relationship. When we met after 6 weeks in a dinner with his family, he was hostile. He can't look at me directly in the eye (although sometimes I catch him looking at me) and he tries to avoid me. I can't understand what does that mean. Now, I don't know what to do. Should I contact him and try to approach him or should I wait for him to contact me?
During the no contact phase if they contact you with something like "how are you?" to see if you are okay because you were a mess ha. Do you ignore this, tell them that you need no contact so you can move on or just give a quick simple reply and go back to no contact??.

Exactly! You DON'T want to contact an ex with these ridiculously fake texts after you've been DUMPED. Not 1 day after or 2 months after. If he/she is interested in you, and you keep living the best life you can live they WILL contact you. If not - "he or she was never yours to begin with".

Heartbroken is not nearly close to describe how I feel. He broke up with me a few hours ago and I don't understand why. It was so sudden. We were really happy a few days ago, nothing out of the ordinary, and then he hits me with "I need time for myself" and "I don't have feeling for you anymore" Why? What happened? We've known each other ever since high school and started dating in college. We even have a trip scheduled for summer; he made me promise that I'd go cause all our friends are going. I agreed bc I think I can win him back there. Also bc I asked him to promise me that he'd think this through in exchange for me going (I know, weird "deal") --it's just... all too sudden, so I think he went with his gut although that is unlike him. But I mean, four years down the drain in four bad days? It can't be. I'm not letting go without a fight. He was not just my boyfriend, but my best friend. He told me that he still cares about me and that he doesn't want to hurt me. So we ended in good terms... "Still friends." Maybe I can use that to my advantage Thank you so much. Your ex is most likely lying about the reason of the breakup so try not to fall for that. However, the bottom line is your ex has significantly lost attraction. @@BradBrowning I am in a very deep chasm that involves my best friend, an ex girlfriend, and being used.
The story goes like this:
My best friend, Marcus was (and still is legally married). He had a female friend, Kim, that liked him (and he liked her), but he couldn't pursue since he was married. He eventually made the introduction between me and Kim and Kim and I slept together and started developing feelings (at least I did). Kim was also going through a nasty divorce from a psychologically and physically abusive ex (and is still going through it). She has a full plate of personal issues, raising her kids, and past drug use along with her exes problems.
While Kim and I were seeing each other in a relaxed relationship, Marcus's wife, Brittany was facing a legal issue and she eventually got sentenced to some time for something she did about one year ago.
As soon as she (Brittany) was out of the picture Kim dumped me and started devoting all her time to Marcus. She doesn't even call or text me at all.
I feel used and upset. I've told Marcus how I feel but he has liked her and wants to be her friend and mine. I want him to dump her, but, he is using her to help him get through the divorce he has wanted from Brittany for a long time, and she is using him for help with her situation. They are getting closer as friends during this period.
I want to see them split. I'm mad and don't like being used and thrown away like yesterday's trash.

From the first time over a year ago when they found out my ex would go back and forth between seeing me and then breaking up with me because her daughters would be mean to her ignore her or become emotional because she was seeing me but this last time they won again and it's been 2 months since I have seen my ex. My ex made the mistake of being roommates with her ex for over 12 years. They had no Romantic relationship at all but she moved away from him with her daughters. It's such a complicated situation. I would appreciate anything you could suggest. I Love my ex and I know she loves me. The situation is so unique it would take a lot more to explain in. I am 48 my ex is 54. Neither of has ever been married or wanted to but we talked about getting married. My ex made me feel like I never Loved anyone before and she said she felt the same way. She would say she only felt like she was truly happy when we were together. I can't believe her children if they Loved and cared about there mother they would want her to be happy. There spoiled brats. My ex has children 4 children from ages 15 to 27. I would love her children and treat them great but they won't give me a chance. My ex's 2 older kids were treated like crap by these 2 children's father and my ex was treated horribly by him 2. He was a loud controlling Narcissist. My situation is very unique. @@ahmadbinomar Hi Ahmad, yup I did a lot of self reflection, therapy to learn myself, change the errors of my ways. The challenge is, my ex reached out to me wanting to talk, I went to his home, we talked and once again, embarked on a relationship journey. 4 days ago, he ended the relationship AGAIN! I should have never gone back, because the things that were challenges (his issues) back then, were still prevalent with him. I had done the work on myself, but he was still stubborn, self centered, demonstrated the "superior attitude", and did not respond well when presented with "hard topics" that involved my needs and wants that I was not getting. Although I was dumped, this time I recognized from logic that this is not the right relationship for me. It hurts no doubt, but I will be ok. Sometimes, the end of a relationship may not feel like it is for the best because in my case, each and every time he dumped me and abandoned the relationship, I left guilt stricken, blamed myself "if I would have only done this , or that", but this time, I realized it was NOT me, it was him, and I did not take it so personal. I am hurt, betrayed emotionally, but I WILL BE FINE.

11 days no contact, I know that doesn’t seem like much compared to some of the comments but it took everything not to call or text. Now I feel like I’m over the worst and feeling better in my own skin every day! To anyone who is attempting no contact- it gets better!! It’s only been 11 days and it’s so much easier 😊

Like how to send her a text message. So I sent her a text saying Hey I have a quick question for you. I said I'm painting my bedroom next week. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what color I should get, thank you. Hope you're doing well. Now she was really good at choosing colors because I painted her bedroom and living room 6 months ago so I knew this text would be a great example of how to start talking to her. Exactly 2 hours later she texted me back telling me what colors I should or shouldn't get for my room. She seemed like she was really excited to talk to me or like she missed me. I could tell through texts, but I'm taking your advice to take everything slow like you've mentioned on other videos. So anyway we had a little chat talking about paints and she even mentioned one of her rooms that she wants to be painted. So I asked her if we both could go together and look at some paints at Home depot whenever she gets a chance and can you believe it? she said yes absolutely we can go on Wednesday after she gets out of work. She even asked me if I could paint her room next Sunday and I said yes. I believe this is great start. The way our relationship ended a month ago I thought I would never get to see her again. Parminder Brar oh man that’s literally the same position I was in, It really depends on how long and how connected you guys was together. But generally if you guys have a loving connection that is deeper than lust and like than I believe they will always come back around. In the beginning it’s hard because you are scared they are going to move on but just as much as you are scared they are equally as scared. Nobody wants to lose someone and see the things you have shared with someone given to another person. Anxiety works for both of you guys but remember your ultimate goal is for your ex to feel anxiety and have withdrawals of you not being there. Sometimes It takes longer than others but if you stay in no contact and improve you life and raise your vibrations and be happy, your ex will feel It and don’t want to miss out on it. Hi Brad. Thanks so much for all the advice. I’ve just ended No Contact. I did it for 4 weeks after an 8 year relationship. My ex sort of reached out (He visited a family member of mine and ended up messaging me about it on exactly 4 weeks of no contact.) I was polite, kept it short and I ended the conversation and let him know I still wasn’t ready to talk. Just finished another 4 weeks and finally messaged him. I kept it short and sweet. Just told him about how I went somewhere the other day and it made me think of him since we spent a weekend there. Followed it by hope you are good and work is going well. He then replied with how much he loved that memory and how he thought it was an amazing weekend. He also said he remembered how cute I looked? At first I thought he wanted to end the conversation and a bit like he was trying to friend zone me, but then he ended up asking me how a family member was doing. With each message I made him wait a good amount of time before replying. Anyway, I made a few jokes throughout the conversation and had the chat about our weekend away memory. I was then the one to end the conversation, but he didn’t read it so it sort of feels like he was the one to end it since he’s not looked at it yet. (I’m guessing he’s gone to bed since it’s late here and I know he has work early.) I’m thinking when he does see it and decides to message or not message, would the best thing for me to do be go back into No Contact? Im still hurting over my recent breakup..and although Im still really tempted to try to contact my ex..I started to use the notepad in my phone to type my feelings and then immediately delete it so nobody ever sees them. It helps that I can get my feelings out privately.

I understand what you're saying, but each person has his/her own reasons for why they either choose to get back together with an ex or let go totally. You can't speak for them because it's their life, not yours to decide. Granted, not all relationships are meant to be salvaged, especially abusive ones and/or one that involves numerous instances of infidelity, but some are worth saving. This all depends on what kind of relationship you have and if you decide to move on or fight for it. There is no wrong answer on whatever your decision is. :-) Anyway thanks for your input!

I feel your pain. I’m in the same class... breakup for no reason... but hey move on though it’s not easy but absolutely worth it.
Got my girl back after almost 3 months.
Did no contact for 45 days. And then another 45 days for slowly getting close to her.
Finally we are like how we used to be in our "fourth" meet up. Or almost 80% of how we used to be.
That's good enough.
Here is my experience :
No contact = 45-50 days.
First meet up = okay, it was everything I expected.
Second meet up (after 7 days) = meh, it went downhill. I opened my heart and said some corny lines. She pushed away my hands. ie. I fucked up.
Third meet up (after 9 days) = better than second meet up. But still not good. I kissed her on her cheeks. She was cheerful.
Fourth meet up (after 9 days) = woah. It went whole lot better than what I expected. We are almost like 80% of what we used to be.
We cuddled. She was super polite this time.
I hope I can settle the deal in 5th meet up.
Thinking of meeting her again after 9-10 days.

Had 30 days of NC. Saw her in person, acted super confident with good energy. Got a txt few hours later. We met up, spend a good time, no negativity. Don't bring up any issue. Now im not sure if I want to be back with that person.

Finally after 4 months , I needed to make dentist appointment and I really needed info and I knew she have good dentist so I asked if she can share phone number.
She was really interested and eiger to hear from me , like she was waiting all this time , I made few jokes and said , can I come over ?? She was like "Hell yess , why couldnt you come , you are always a guest" so I said okay I come tonight ? and she said , better if I come tomorrow night at your place so she did , we went for a coffee and I said wanna get out of here , wanna come to my place she said yes and we hooked up last night and had amazing sex .
Now I know , I dont want to fall back into the routine ,acting like everything is back to normal and back to the old relationship.. How can I take everything from here , she said shes not interested in no one that shes alone and have cousins shes hanging out with

@@nova12332 It eventually faded, we did hook up a couple of times but it faded at the end. There was a lack of her initiation so I let it go. But we still are on good terms and If I reach out there is a possibility to arrange a date or something but I dont want to . I moved on and I will find someone new and build healthier relationship.
But I can surely say that Brad's advice does work because you dont display any week, needy behaviours that turn women off to the point that she never wants to see you again.
It really depends on your ex and how strongly she made a decision to not get back together. But anyways guys should know that if you are a gentleman and dont take things seriously and personally , act cocky and charming, you will always be attractive in her eyes and she will probably give you a chance. The courtship never ends. It should be all natural. You will be the toxic one if you pursue too much and try to manipulate and force things. So if it doesnt go well or it begins to go sideways, send love and move on. There are plenty of fish in the sea ! Take care !
I maxed out at 5 days 😂 I’m obsessed but I’m planning to go back no contact today until my birthday on Halloween. Since the breakup I’ve made many changes to life for the better. I volunteer, I’ve lost a lot of weight that I gained during the relationship, I’ve been able to hold onto one of the best job opportunities that I’ve ever had and I go out and enjoy myself a lot more than I used too. Hey Brad so I dont know how well the 30 day no contact rule will apply with my ex. When we broke up some of the reasons were: conversations running dry, not seeing eachother often enough even though that could change, and I was unmotivated for awhile. When she broke up with me she said she was still in love with me and wants me to be the guy shes with in the future. I didnt plead with her or beg her to take me back nor have I seemed angry I just cried and asked her what was different. In addition she said that she still wanted to snapchat everyday. So I'm concerned that if I dont reply to her or dont contact her for a month that she will think in the future things wont be different and that she was right. I've made a lot of progress on myself and have been motivated more then ever to improve myself. I dont know how she will be able to see this and may think that I've just given up on her. One thing I know she'd want is someone to fight for her and to be chivalrous. Would something like 20-25 days of no contact be a bad idea?

Chances are your ex is rebounding anyway but the point is you shouldn't be focused on that right now. That's all out of your control. Brad, I've applied the no contact rule as in I only respond when she contacts first. We broke up a month ago and she still has belongings at my place. She is legit at a snail's pace moving out and every 3 to 4 days she contacts me or swings by to gather more things. Granted, not all relationships are meant to be salvaged, especially abusive ones and/or one that involves numerous instances of infidelity, but some are worth saving. Well.... I started this with mine yesterday. I watched another of your videos about the no contact and did what it said about the apology for acting emotional, etc, so I texted her yesterday and did that after not talking to her for a week. That being said, she hasn’t replied to me but hasn’t blocked me or unfriended me on social media or on the phone. She’s still viewing my stories and almost as soon as I post them. The funny thing is....the previous girlfriend texted me recently after no contact for a month (before I watched your videos), and while I was on a date with the one that just broke up with me, and we’re talking again. Sooooo....I definitely have a distraction to keep me from contacting my current ex.

My ex came back after day 30 on a 30 day radio silence. But she kept telling me it's my fault, that's why she left. She left me. She left while I was a work. Now I have seen her twice and same thing. My ex cheated on me. When I found out about that I got furious and wasn't able to control my anger. I said a lot of bad things to him. But I still pleaded to get back together. I know I was so stupid back then to do that. But yes, we got back but for him it was just a temporary relationship because maybe in order to stop me from being persistent to get back with him. He treats me like nothing, just a friend whom he's close with. So I had enough of his treatment that's why I initiated to broke up with him already.
Before I did NC I said to him that I can't be friends with him for now because I want space in order to recover from what happened to our relationship. When we met after 6 weeks in a dinner with his family, he was hostile. He can't look at me directly in the eye (although sometimes I catch him looking at me) and he tries to avoid me. I can't understand what does that mean.

Heartbroken is not nearly close to describe how I feel.
He broke up with me a few hours ago and I don't understand why. It was so sudden. We were really happy a few days ago, nothing out of the ordinary, and then he hits me with "I need time for myself" and "I don't have feeling for you anymore"
Why? What happened?
We've known each other ever since high school and started dating in college.
We even have a trip scheduled for summer; he made me promise that I'd go cause all our friends are going.
I agreed bc I think I can win him back there. Also bc I asked him to promise me that he'd think this through in exchange for me going (I know, weird "deal") --it's just... all too sudden, so I think he went with his gut although that is unlike him.
But I mean, four years down the drain in four bad days? It can't be.
I'm not letting go without a fight. He was not just my boyfriend, but my best friend. He told me that he still cares about me and that he doesn't want to hurt me. So we ended in good terms... "Still friends." Maybe I can use that to my advantage

Your ex is most likely lying about the reason of the breakup so try not to fall for that. However, the bottom line is your ex has significantly lost attraction.
