You can put the solar panels in all the directions (faces) on the glass cube and on the support cube without losing any power from the solar panels. Also if you drop down the mining drone on a mineable astraoid it will help u mine resources!
I would suggest a few things : - remove every non-production devices from your belts, including the Fabricator (its production can't be belted), to make space for more Recyclers, Chems and the like. - set up an area for Research and the like close to your Jump drive. - stop shaking your mouse when thinking what to do next, in a game with no up/down, it is very motion sickness inducing 😅 - leave your base ingredients in your Storage(s), the Fabricator and Food processor can take them from there, less "inventory full" messages. Fabricator works with cubits in storage so you dont have to have them in your inventory, I'd also recommend you get farm cube and eat corn, your wasting carbon for a little bit of food...
The Laser Pistol is a lot more accurate (try it out.) but if you like the rifle better that's fine. As you've seem. it's time to upgrade at least your mining if not all your equipment. And a Mining drone is simple: place it on any area you haven't mined clean (not sure if the basic one mines ammonium or not,) and it mines and collects materials then flies back to you when done. If you are having fun keep playing as I sure enjoy watching you Grill!
I know corn is good for food and credits like 90 corn can get u like 3k depending on price and you can wrap solar panels around a scaffolding to make them all get 60 power 2 scaffolding and 5 solars kinda mushroom shaped😂
@Grillmastah The only RENEWABLE resource I've found in the game is Carbon. But it will depend on large quauntities of Oxygen cubits ...something that seems quite limited in supply. You'll want to start farming asap! Each Farm plot will cost you some Steel and 20 x Oxygen cubits. It will take just a single Carbon cubit to make a seed in the Fabricator. Each seed will produce several corn or tomatoes that you can sell on the stock market, or you can eat. But most importantly, of course, is that you can Atomize them for tons and tons more Carbon cubits. On the subject of Farming: You may want to hold off on destroying the Entity Factory right away! They're mob spawners and as long as you're near them they'll keep spawning more mobs to kill ...which means more stuff to loot and Atomize into cubits that would otherwise have been exhausted from the system. After you've mined up everything the only way to get more is to farm the spawners!
Yes, farming the Entity nanofactory is a great idea, just make sure you have lots of medkits (they are cheap, only 1 Si and 2 O) to heal damage and float outside the nanofactory asteroid shooting down whatever it makes. Entity is a good source of Al, H, and Si.
@@david2869 Yes, but if you're going to farm them I recommend that you do it from near orbit rather than on the ground as you'll get hung up on the rocks when you try to doge them. But in orbit you'll have the greater advantage of distance to take them out before they can reach you. You only want to hit the Entity Factory one time to trigger a spawn. And that means you'll get a ton of spawns before you'll have quit for a while and let it regen its Hp!
for solars make a checker partner not a line so for example x = solar o = glass/support xoxoxoxo oxoxoxox xoxoxoxo then you can layer it on top but just putting solars on the glass and glass on to of the solar oxoxoxox xoxoxoxo oxoxoxox
Or you can make a solar blossom with one x and o surrounding on six sides which leaves only 1 side of one panel blocked used as support. Solar panels are only obscured by blocks placed on them.

Although I am not sure the fabricator will work with cubits in auto-storage, but it will work with cubits in the lockers.
I really enjoy this game. Your base looks so much better already. And I just love the exploration and all the things you can make. Such a fun game. 😊
