A few things you are missing. Don't forget to scan EVERYTHING! Scanning provides free credits for each kind of item that exists. You can drop items from inventory and scan them if you haven't scanned it already. There are usually panels to laser off on the front outside of the wrecked ships for more electronics and hatches. Don't forget to laser apart all of those floating bulkheads for several pieces of bulkhead that provide iron. A floating bulkhead can give about 20 iron for all of the parts. Also don't forget to use your mining drone on every asteroid you land on, they can have mineable clusters that can provide a few bits each. On asteroids you might find cylindrical buildings, these have hatches to laser on top of them as well.
5:38 there is still an item in the inside of that wreckage if it's important. (For the record you sold steel to the stock market before.) Glad you remembered your iron scrap from the yellow boxes!
And grats on your first space crop, corn! But you forgot to use your mining droid! Holster/switch from your water gun to collect your crops. What do you do with this stuff? Sell it at the stock market! (And do keep playing.)
I was just watching someone else play and when he went to harvest his corn it showed a popup that showed the letter F with the word corn, so it should just give you a key to press when it's ready.
I believe you have to look more towards the base of the plant too.
48:24 the popup shows up.
You can farm every exposed face of the crop cubes instead of just the "top" one since the game will stick your character to whatever side you're on, just simply walk all the way around it and plant/water every exposed face.
I'm enjoying this way more than power washing sim.

If you think the ships are scary just wait until you get to Industrial. The deep mines are just mazes up to 5 levels deep and chocked fully of mobs! By then, you should have grenades! 2 or 3 of them will work wonders! I died so many times down there not even trying to mine yet ... because they spawn in behind you and they make you lose yourself in the maze and then they corner you for the kill. But the risk is well worth the rewards! You'll earn them!! BTW make yourself some RESIST. It's made with corn and it gives Defence and Hunger buffs!
Farming the Entity Factories [spawners] works but only at a distance from obit and if you don't completely destroy it you can go away and it will regen its hp and you can come back and farm it some more later.
Could you set down the comfy captain's chair and use it Grill?

Make more storage cubes and don't sell raw materials as you will need them later to make items In the assembler and chemforge. Those items sell for way more on the market.
I love the farm setup you have now. It looks awesome. I have no idea how to harvest the crops, though. Hopefully you figure it out, since the food from algae doesn’t seem to go very far. Still, I’m really loving this game. 😊
First you plant a seed, then you water, then the seed grows, then you water again, then you can harvest. Harvest gives 1-2 corns and/or a seed. Corn can be made into 1 carbon in the atomizer or sold or eaten.
Put your cursor over the corn plant and press F to harvest corn.
Support, i dont know but my guess for harvesting is the vaccum
Excoriating to watch. To harvest the corn you use hold the water gun and walk over the corn until you see the obvious text to harvest / gather it. how you could miss it constantly had me shouting at the screen lol : ) Wacks head OMG really ! : P
? multiple storage boxes with the conveyer split to sort out types ?
i still dont know why u made a glass cube to put the solar panel on when u could have put it on the current one. if you totally enclose a glass cube on all faces with solar panels u will not lose power to any of the solar panel. I know its counter intuitive but it works.

could grind some production of stuff to get money from the stockmarket
and range for most things is about 100 for the tier 1 equipment.
releasing the mining drone will shoot mineable rocks while you're on the asteroids, and then return to you once there are no more left. still have to go grab the materials yourself though, I tend to double up shooting the same stuff it shoots, just so it mines faster.
also, your corn is ready, I think you need to harvest it by clicking near the root, instead of the stalk. hit box on that could use work.
You're not making the most of the 3 dimensional building with your pieces a cube has 6 sides
The problem is one side has to be anchored. Energy cube aside (using glass or a girder cube,) that means one side at LEAST is anchored or attached and thus inaccessible.
@joshuacr still don't see the problem 5 sides are more useful than 2.
Actually u can build a support club below the solar panel then a glass or support above the solar panel and then get all 6 sides!! support and glass blocks dont block light!@@joshuacr
