WOWS should also do a historical event of the Battle of Midway, Battle of the Mariana Islands, Guadalcanal, Battle of the Phillipine Sea, and Battle of Leyte Gulf...I have a feeling that this historical event is the marking of an epic journey in WOWS. I thought it would start when they introduced Operation Dynamo, but we all know how that turned out.
That should have added E-boats instead of submarines. Super low HP but extremely hard to detect but can’t hide underwater whilst spotting you from a mile away.
Look like WG is preparing for D-Day Anniversary for both WOT and WOWS, look like we will be ready for it when it about to come out. And may honor those who went on that beach that day

Personally this is uninteresting to me. Sure I'd love to do these Operations, but not with ship choices so limited. I'll just wait until they get added into rotation.
I enjoyed these operations on the PTS they are a lot of fun, although the classified documents were pretty useless, the good thing about that is if you forget to mount them it doesn’t matter.
I would disagree. The buffs are pretty significant. Need your dd to be effective for taking out shore guns. 250% buff to pen those. Or 20% bigger depth charge radius to clear mine fields doesn't hurt either. 30% better AA fire is nice too. Nothing that breaks the game but 20 or 30% buffs in a few mission relevant areas is going to help.

For DD drivers, please do mine sweepers, you guys have the best depth charges to sweeping mines. Battleships mains will appreciate you very much. CL and CAs usually support both DDs and BBs. You priority will be PTs and DDs. You guys can attack the shore installations but remember, you guys are better at killing ships. (Jervis is really good mine sweeper) Battleships, any ships that are not West Virginia. Just maneuver and avoid PTs. Once at range against shore installations, just focus on it.

The main reason for the luftwaffe and mines is to make the operation actually interesting and hard. If it was only artillery and a few S boats it would be way too easy and honestly boring.

They were defeated against the Ottoman Empire, which was very weak in terms of military, technological and ammunition. Why is there no interaction about this?
Gallipoli would be a fantastic Operation, and they may yet make it if people like you keep reminding them! I would also love to see Yavuz Sultan (ex-Goeben) added to the game. To answer your question (in my opinion) it is because no one really knows about Gallipoli. The Allies lost, so it was not publicized widely like their “victories” were.

you did not fix any of the issues raised in PT? No value in going for guns if you do you get picked off by guns you cannot see the team sits and gets fcked by eboats or mines and you cannot get from one side of map to other to activate each phase? The guns and fixed units would have been fully observed before dday having to spot is just ruining this potentially great option. and french CN for the fixed offer? they were sitting it out on the sea bed in Oran on d day? I killed all the guns got wacked and came last a guy takes 3 eboats dies in 5 min comes first?
Why is plus 2 matchmaking still in the game? It's such a dull MM choice.. Can we get an update where it's removed? Take a tier six Farragut.. Not fast not stealthy even with concealment rig. It will face tier eight japanese destroyer Akizuki (which is stupidly broken).. Akizuki is more stealthy, has twice as much health hits twice as hard than farragut and in 3 whole seconds.. Not to mention the torpedoes.
Well they've now done Schnellboots. How long before they and their American, British and Japanese counter parts become premiums to buy. If you thought subs were a pain imagine these little guys with an unending reload of torpedoes zipping about at 60+ knots (assuming conversion bias compared to destroyers) and the target area of a quarter of a DD on the battlefield. The only thing against them will be they only fire 2 torpedoes at a time. Will be interesting to see how much of a punch they have. Still looking forward to the event.

Unlike submarines brainless lock on homing torpedo gameplay whilst having the same HP as destroyers and a higher concealment. E-boats would just have dumb torpedoes and rely on aiming and skill.

You can, but there's a certain amount of randomness to how accurate the shells are. The classified information reduces the randomness.
The guns are probably behind a hill aka meaning you have to detect them for the shots not to hit said hill in front of them
