I'm going through this now for my oldest. What I find really unfortunate is that Canadian universities don't have any interest in better understanding the applicants. They don't want motivation letters, don't care about your extra-curricular activities, and, shockingly, they don't even care about how difficult your high school was. If you've got a 4.0 in one of the toughest high schools in the country or a 4.0 in some shitty school, for them it's all the same. They just plug in your grades and number-crunch their acceptances.
Is there a separate place ouac where we apply for early addmission or it is just the deadline is before it is usually for other programs. I am really scared should I apply early in November to just get it done with cause I had good marks in grade11
hey nelson im in grade 11 right now looking to apply early next year for comp sci. i plan on taking 2 4U grade 12 courses next semester aswell as grade 12 english in summer school. this means i'll have 3 grade 12 courses before grade 12 even starts in which i'll be doing an additonal grade 12 courses during the semester. i was wondiering if, during early acceptance, since in my position, i have more than 6 grade marks if they'd use those or still use grade 11 marks
Hello how are you I m permanent resident of Canada Fine my bachelor of computer engineering from my back home India I have my Wes report and trying to apply in Uottawa or Carlton university so what they want and what is proves because it’s been long that I m looking for this thank you
If that's the case, a few days before the final application deadline. That allows them to primarily see your top 6 grade 12 marks. This is especially true if you apply in March because they can make a decision based on your Semester 1 Final and Semester 2 Midterm mark.
@@NelsonLeeYTbut what’s the con of not applying early since marks would automatically get updated? Or is there a way that this could negatively impact your application?

It depends on the school so check on each university’s website!

If there’s a Grade 12 mark for a course, they’ll use that over Grade 11! Good Luck!
when did you apply to qucomm, and when did you receive an offer by?
I applied in early December and got an offer in March.
@@NelsonLeeYT thank you :)

If my grade 11 marks aren't super strong but I know my grade 12 marks will be, when would you say is the best time to apply?
