Can we also get a montage for movies that use “Don’t Stop Me Now”? I feel like that’s also a common one

This is such a chaotic song, literally fits any setting. You could put it as a background soundtrack to killing zombies and I wouldn’t question it
The exact same vibes as with Don't Stop Me Now. Which ironically has been set to a soundtrack of killing zombies
And that's why I love it. The energy fits anything and everything, from the end of the world to a romantic comedy. It has so much range.
Its that whaking beat with some chill singing and guitar, perfect haAAAAarmony!~

This song is always the focus of the scene. It's never "in the background", it always is on top of everything else for some reason
Because its an absolute BOP
The song is just that powerful
Uriel de la Garza, that was what I as thinking, but I was somehow unable to put it into words. This comment is cool.

Honestly tho if you’re gonna have a bad ending where everyone dies, this is the perfect song to play during the zoom out
Kinda seems like QT would do, have an abrupt scene where there is an intense shootout happening off screen.
Only for one victor to walk out adjust his clothes (ala Gus Fring) and immediately collapse a few steps away revealing a fatal wound, this song plays as it pans over the absolute carnage that just occurs.
Samuel Jones oh my god I would absolutely love seeing that in a QT film
We love contradicting music to the scene. It adds so much emotion. Like for example after a big bomb blew up, scanning the silent and dead world while playing what a wonderful world. It just adds an extra step, and umph, it shows we darn screwed up.
And like having really happy music playing while the protagonists are loosing a fight in slow motion.
Or like you said an ending where everyone dies it gives it that sense of- I don’t even know how to explain it, but it makes it ten times worse.
Only beaten by, "We'll Meet Again" at the end of Doctor Strangelove. I think that's the best ending song pick in a movie I've ever seen haha My entire class lost it.
Dancing in the moonlight would work too
Are you telling me that the first time I heard "Mr. Blue Sky" was in Megamind????

Mega-mind is so underrated.
It’s crazy how underrated it is. My family’s loved it since it came out, quote my brother, “it’s basically part of our culture.” And I’m surprised not very many other people have seen it or loved it as much.
How is it underrated? All my friends and relatives know it. Also it keeps being used in memes.
Bloody Fangs the critics didn’t do the film justice. Making a cgi animated film that people of all ages can enjoy is an incredible achievement, especially since a lot of older people aren’t used to that type of film making, therefore making them less likely to relate to, and enjoy it. The movie presented a (at the time) less common theme of "three-dimensional" villains. They demonstrated the philosophy that people aren't born evil, and that their environment has a big impact on who you become in the future. It provided older people with a more "serious" undertone to the movie while also giving children, who may not fully understand, a light hearted and meaningful message that not everyone is "black and white" and the treatment of other people matters.
mainly bc despicable me came out in the same year so it got all the hype :/

I remember it being called Doogle 😓
It was marketed in the US as Doogal. It's one of my (now 17 yr old) son's favorite animated movies, and is one of his comfort films. I remember the TV show from Britain, and my grandparents would send me some of the toys for Christmas or my birthday, in the early 70s.
I was thinking to myself when I clicked on this "If there is no Megamind, I will go nuts." Thankfully I was wrong.
I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT SOMETHING LIKE THAT
