Nice work! I like the "worked spine". It not only shows that it indeed was hand crafted but also it shows the level of excellence that you as a maker can accieve when you see the handle details, the grind, sanding and the edge appplied to the knife. It looks great!
Thanks very much, I'm defiantly not the greatest knifemaker, but I love pushing my personal boundaries, and there isn't anywhere to hide when you leave the texture there. Thanks for checking it out!
Stumbled on your videos and I'm glad I did! You make some beautiful knives, but the variety of other content is a nice change of pace from the normal knife maker channels. Cheers!
That’s exactly what I’m going for! Thanks for checking it out, I have a lot of cool projects in the pipe works, it’s really fun to be working on different things all the time. Thanks for checking it out!
This is incredible! Amazing work, very talented! Wouk’s be a pleasure to use this epic knife! That handle 🤩 thanks for sharing the awesome video of production! Nothing I’ve ever seen before!
Great knives that you are crafting, and this is no exception. Great talent, not only are forging quality knives, you are making some nice chopping boards. Throwing in some chef/cooking advice, this should become a well rounded channel. Will definitely become a regular view
Thanks man , I really appreciate that, it’s a bit of an odd mix of content, but something I would watch 😂 hopefully we get a few more on board. Thanks for checking it out man , appreciate it
Now that is a beautiful knife! The patten in the blade, the shape of the handle and it’s my favourite colour! Pick me pick me! Keep up the great videos 😊
Loved watching the insightful process into the craft of how such a stunning knife is made! Thanks for the opportunity to be able to use this beautiful knife at home!
I would love to add another one of your knives to my collection! I bought an 8in chef knife from you 4 years ago, has an Ambonya burl and green resin spacer! Still going strong. Great looking knives man
I am in New Zealand and I honestly find the Damascus Chef Knives the most appealing. Did you go to the Blade Masters Show in Auckland last year and exhibit. Love to own that knife and I’m hoping to be the lucky one, lol. Cheers across the ditch.
This is awesome to see how a Damascus knife is made, I especially love the shape of the handle, I’m definitely following you to see more handcrafted items and your food recipes!
Thanks mate, I do have one, but when I learned knifemaking, I was taught everything freehand, and its really stuck with me. But thanks for checking it out!
Ugh that no good, but if tho some does go well I would really like to be doing more giveaways in the future, so hopefully there is something you can enter in the future, but thanks for checking it out!
Love the shape of that knife, not usually a fan of damascus, but the contrast and pattern is really stunning. Also, is that anvil self made or is that a style of anvil? Never seen one like that before
Thank-you! Leaving the forged texture on top seems to make everything a little more subtle, and in my mind doesn’t make it as “busy” to look at. And nope, it’s a cast anvil, the style of anvil is called a knife makers anvil, as guys that just make knives don’t have much need for the horn on the end, and it’s a lot more compact if you need to move it around, but still surprisingly heavy 😂 but thanks for checking it out!
Hey! No it’s not, there’s a company in Australia that makes them, but I do believe they are around, typically referred to as a knifemakers anvil if that helps. And thanks very much!
Great work!! Beautiful knife ❤
Thanks very much!
