We'll ask what's going through the head of a top performer when they're about to go knock a door? So we're about to go hit this door and I want to give you a little secret on what do I say?
Okay. A lot of sales has to do with what's in here. Where 80% of this is mental and 20% is actually what you're saying. I've watched so many reps say the same thing, the exact same thing that I'm saying. He's like, "Well I just said what you said." I'm like, "There's a difference of what's going on in your head and your confidence and your own belief system of why you're not closing deals. Why you're not getting that deal."
And it's the energetic state that you're in that's really one of the bigger secrets to door knocking. So if you've watched some of my lives and if you've watched some of the videos of what I do is I'm in such a peak state. I'm so enthusiastic. I'm so sharp. I'm ready to be there. I'm listening and trying to pay attention to all the little signs that they're giving me. So when they open that door, it's like, "boom" I hit 'em and they're like "Wow no door to door person has ever treated me this way. No one has ever entertained. No one has ever asked me the questions you've asked. No one's ever been as courteous. No one's ever been as knowledgeable." And when I knock that door, I'm saying pretty much the same stuff, but the way I'm coming off is a lot different.
All the sudden I'm literally demanding their attention. I'm demanding through my enthusiastic and confident persona, that they listen to me. Because I have authority and I say when I go up to those stairs, that's my office. I own that doorstep. That's it. If you want to be a top performer. Do you have any tips for knocking in a saturated area. I feel like I have a massive target on my for head before I even get to the door. Saturated to the point that one company alone has sent six different reps to the same door, not to mention all of the other companies in the area.

I was a door to door salesman for Kirby for 4+ years, I was extremely successful but I settled down and became a professional painter and now I'm looking to structure a D2D business model to generate exterior bids/jobs. I'd love to network if there's anyway we can link up via internet or something that would be awesome!
I have literally just stared d2d for Kirby. Can you please give me some tips, My first door was basically me reading a script. I felt I could have made it a good lead generator, but I can see how my head down in a script didn't come across too confident.

Door must have been a let down? I’m lost
The best salesman can still get sales when they are down. Imagine you have had a massive argument with partner therefore you are not in a sales mood, top salesman pull it out of the bag no matter what. Also remember YOU are the expert in your field contrary to what people sales experts tell you don't let a customer take over by asking too many questions. You are the master of your sector. I've been a top salesman door to door for 6 of uk top energy companies as well as other sectors. Also get in their home in a nice way once in you are in their space only then can you make friends with them and gain the sale that is far more likely not to cancel. Be professional on the door at start once in their home become their friend. Uk style
Have your editor fix your saturation with reds. Your skin is to saturated and red, looks bad

This video is amazing. When I focused on internal energy and stop focusing on scripts, my percentage improved.
As nuts as this sounds …….. before calls I do push-ups. I used to practice scripts and objection handling.
But when I focused less on words, and more on energy state (through pushups) my closing rate went up.

I found a card on my front yard from a babysitting service a few times. Usually I threw it away, but one day I decided to keep it. Months go by. Suddenly, my friend and I need a sitter and we decide to call and check her out. She became my son’s sitter for 3 years. We invited her to his 5th birthday party. I did her daughter’s makeup for her and her husband’s anniversary party.
Don’t be afraid to do what no one else likes to do. Sure it’s out of most people’s comfort zones, but nothing worth having comes easy.
To this day, I am grateful that her husband drove down my street, and left a card several times
Ive thought about buying " no soliticing" signs in bulk and offering them for a mark up to grouchy people like yourself when I get to them lol. Maybe one day ill sell you one.
I sell gutter cleaning services..most people are happy...during wet season if you dont clean gutters they create sediment and can cause roof overflow..ihave had people thank me for going door to door because they didnt understand their roof can overflow due to this. I get some are annoying..but you never know sometimes
@@brogers_ I think word of mouth is probably the best recommendation, if you have a good meal you tell someone. If someone does a good job you will probably recommend them. There’s always some “chancer” wanting to make an easy buck at your expense and these are the folk to avoid. Use your spy hole in your front door to see who it is, keep the chain on the door too. My front door is always double locked and the chain on, safety first.
This makes a lot of sense!
