I am also an extravagant expressive dresser. I loved your video as I do think people can be shy to dress individually and authentically. I love colour and beautiful textures as well as unusual clothes, mainly vintage found at second hand shops. I think being an Artist gives one wonderful licence to dress wildly and with flair! Don't ever stop, this is part of who you are!
Thank you Amanda ! yes it's true I imagine for people who have a very serious job, it's probably tough sometimes to dress , if they like fantasy, colors and can't play as we do, thank you! Dressing is for sure more and more funny and enjoyable as time goes by ..!
I agree! I live in New England and other than the college crowd, people tend to dress quite conservative and drab, I admit that I have curbed my style a lot in the past years, but I am now ready to bloom again in color and texture and patterns - such great fashion ideas here! Merci beaucoup! Very refreshing…
I absolutely loved every second of this video.🌺 Thank you for sharing your friends amazing style and place.🌹 As long as you feel confident and pretty in your clothes, that is all what matters. 🍃 Other people really don't matter what they think. Though both of your outfits are gorgeous. 🍃
Glad you liked this one Sabine, you are right, and I think daring wearing what we really like encourages otherswho are abit shy to do the same , being a bit different, Thank you !:))
That's nice to know that! As I don't see the persons who watch the videos it's nice to imagine some are wearing totally unusual clothes, now I will imagine some are wearing medieval style dresses! Love that!
I have many pieces of clothing that look like what you both wear. People say things about my clothes often, both positive and negative. I love my clothes and I am so glad to have met friends “the both of you” who are many miles away who share the same love that I do 💕 thank you
I loved this i love unusual items not necessarily clothes. My favourite was the beautiful coloured butterfly wing brooch😍. My sister told me I shouldn't wear my hair long because I'm too old...I ignored her and decided to colour with a pink wash out colour 😆. I have never followed the trend/fashion if I like it I wear it Never be afraid to be you🤗💕💆
Thank you Truppy !That's really nice! You were right to ignore your sister , growing old doesn't mean dressing with blue strict boring clothes and short hair ...! I totally support you !:) it's very true!
@@Merveillesenpapier I'm so glad you agree I just think people can be jealous because there to afraid to be themselves. If your happy I think that's all that matters. Life would be very boring if we all looked the same 💕🤗
I just have to comment because of Tuppy’s reply that her sister told her she was too old to wear her hair long.. I’m 67 and started growing my hair long when i turned 60. I get so many compliments on my hair from women and a few men also. I love my long hair and it’s now grown down to my bum. I too, like the unusual in my clothing, jewelry and accessories. Loved your Utube video. Thanku. And tell Gaelle Thanku.
I absolutely adored this video.....so much fun! I love the creativity with not only Gaelle's clothing (which was to die for, especially that gorgeous red hooded coat) but how her creativity was sprinkled thru the entire home. I would love to see more please!!
Thank you Debbie! I agree that's why I showed a bit of her home it's all pretty with the same colors with a lot of unique pieces. I encouraged for a long time to start a channel sharing her finds maybe someday she will do it ! She will for sure stop by in one of my video in the future :)
You two were meant to be friends! You look so proud and happy to introduce us to her. Like attracts like. You are both just lovely. Thank you for sharing with us!
What a beautiful, enchanting lifestyle. I live in simple trousers and tops but I have a large collection of beautiful scarves and semiprecious stone earrings and bracelets which I fancy elevates my style and adds a bit of whimsy. Thank you for sharing your treasures with us.
I am the same way. I have always been this way. I have never been comfortable in jeans. Always long dresses. I can relate, our taste is the same!! Love you both.
Two beautiful ladies, so gracious. I thought I had an old home (110 years old), and unique clothes, fabrics, scarves, laces, trims, gloves, hats, etc., but I see now that there are plenty of beautiful items in elegant surroundings. I have always dressed in a “quaint” way and always will. I also do not have jeans. When I was 16 years old I carried an Armadillo purse which was round and had the head on the top, even though I’m vegetarian. Gaelle’s round purse reminded of that. A thousand thank you’s for this video-I enjoyed it very much!!
Thank you for your message Catherine ! Glad you enjoyed watching this video discovering Gaëlle's clothes and accessories in your old home !That's for sure you are not alone who love those things :)
Wonderful! So uplifting! Thank you. 🙂 It's challenging to find affordable, natural fiber clothing with interesting detail. But, it's fun to find little pieces here and there and see what kind of personal style develops.
I enjoyed your video so much and thank you Gaëlles for sharing all of your wonderful clothing and accessories!! Maybe one day I will meet you and see you dressed in one of your fabulous outfits! I love to dress differently but many times feel intimidated not just because the clothes are different but because I am not a thin woman and these clothes can make me look even bigger than I am. Plus they can be a bit difficult to find in larger sizes. However I do have a few items and I do wear them sometimes. Merci again!
I have collected so many wonderful things and both of you have sparked my imagination to once again combine and wear my vintage things with confidence and style…
It was so much fun to see you and your friend enjoying yourselves❗️So many interesting & wonderful things to see. I loved her gorgeous red hooded jacket and that wonderful purse❣️
O! Mais quelle charmante vidéo! Thank you very much to talk about my work! It's a really beautiful video and i'm glad ti discover Gaelle's home. A dreaming place!
Great video. You both are very similar. A very interesting wardrobe and jewellery. I don't think her clothes are strange at all. Also liked Gaelle's home too. Thanks for sharing.
Oh i loved this video so much!!! The clothes were all so beautiful but my most favorite object of all was the butterfly ring Gaelle was wearing sooooo beautiful!
🌹🌷🌹What. A wonderful video❣️I love the styles of your friend’s clothes. Her house had a beautiful atmosphere and is very artistic... she’s has great taste and wonderful sense of style. Thank you❤️

Happy New Year! Awesome wardrobe and jewerly. TFS. When I was younger, (way younger) and weighed very little I use to dress unique, different, romantic/sexy. Nice to see people dressing this way. Thanks again ladies!!
All my life I have worn my own style. When I was a teenager, I visited old Singapore and lived in Saudi Arabia for a year. At that time, I realised that fashion is local and what is the norm in one place is not somewhere else. Now, with the huge fashion chain stores in every shopping centre, it may seem harder to step outside of the norm. But it's not. If you know your style, you can find it in secondhand stores or make it yourself. The only time I bought clothes in fashion stores was when the 'fashion' coincided with my style eg. one year you could buy lacey clothes everywhere (I still have those clothes). Now, as I age, and my figure is broader, I look for a more flattering style for me. I recently traveled to Japan and was greatly impressed with the poise and grace of older Japanese women. I love the 'boro' recycled clothes. So I have given away most of my frilly things and am sewing a collection inspired by the Japanese aesthetic - I cut up second-hand jeans and make a dress for example. It is truly fun to be yourself, think for yourself and be authentic. I am very impressed with Laetitia and Gaelle and their feminine clothes!
Thank you Michelle for sharing your own path and a bit of history with your clothes and dressing differently!Travelling in very different cultures, countries and continents can be for sure very inspiring !Wonderful! Making one's own clothes is the best!!
I'am not the only one who like / love your clothes. Even I don't wear something like you do. I was always different. At school everybody wears jeans, not me. I never wanted to have trousers, no matter what fabric, colour or shape it was. Now it is a little more "normal"because I work and with my animals it is not a good idea to have a lot of lace, frizzle (is it a word?) because they love that too much. Especially my donkey Eeyore or the goats like to try eating my clothes. :+)
