Got this a few days back and fully agree. Incredible value for anyone using in a dark room setting. Projector can also playback 4K content. Was pleasantly surprised Prime Video was giving an Ultra HD stream, so projector benefits from best resolution possible. Really hard to find fault with anything about this projector all things considered. It's got more features than you'd expect for a budget projector and everything works well. So far so good.
Wow thank you so much for sharing your good experiences with the UA-cam community.. This is exactly what I thought when testing the product. Your comment will help a lot of people so I'm thankful for you taking the time to comment. 🙂
I received this yesterday but I don't get any 4K video options, the max input I can play is 1080p. Ive tried using my 4k fire stick and also built in apps. Any suggestions? I know it will still display the file at 1080p but I was just curious.
@@DominicGale firestick recognised the projector as a 4k 30hz tv. Check firestick display settings. Is it plugged straight into the projector? If not and you are using a hdmi splitter make sure it is capable of processing 4k signal. Otherwise I am not sure what the issue is. I didn't have to do anything it was automatically like that.
@@BrijMadahar-ey3iuThanks for replying. It's just plugged straight in. Doesn't give any 4K options on any 4k video. Also had problems with Bluetooth audio connected to surround speakers, out of sync and no settings to adjust. I'm happy with the projector and it's incredible for the price but contemplating if maybe the wimius P62 will be the better option at only £50 more
@@DominicGaleyeah send it back. Yes the projector is feature packed so good value for money though i did end up returning mine as was concerned about dust / black spots.
Thanks for the reviews. Im looking to get my first projector, obviously going to start with a lower priced one. What would you recommend this or the Wimius P63?
Hi there, Both are great machines but the D1 takes the win! It's the best bang for buck, and is more up to date with official netflix, prime and UA-cam. But for £100 pounds this projector is a must buy for people on a budget. 🙂👍
I can't comment on this machine as I haven't tested this model. But I would say the specifications are certainly impressive! And Epson is a reliable brand that know what they are doing when it comes to making projectors. All I can say is read as many reviews and watch as many videos as you can before making a decision. As the Epson is a little pricey, but I'm sure it's well worth it. 🙂👍
Great for a tight budget. Image quality is vey good in a dark room, still reasonably watchable in a semi dark room. The apps are a waste of time except for Prime and Netflix. Add a Firestick and you've got a great machine. Currently 20% off @ £159.99 on Amazon. The other day there was an extra £40 off so i took the plunge. There is some fan noise but it's not excessive. Speakers are OK, better than my Panasonic 55" tv by some margin, i'd say room filling not earth shattering. The quality of these cheaper units just get better and better,. It's not 4K and it dumbs down 4K to 1080p but the results are good and 99% of my viewing is at 1080p anyway.
What a great comment! And I must say a nice little review of this machine. 🙂👍 Thanks for the great feedback. This helps others reading the comments section. 🙂👍 I'm pleased you like it. 🙂
Is the sound quality (supposably Dolby Atmos) better than the Wimius P63? And does the controller respond better from different angles than the P63 as well? My parents returned the P63 mainly for these two reasons and now they are looking for another projector
Yes it's Dolby sound but I would still recommend using a Bluetooth sound bar/ speaker setup etc for a more immersive experience. Yes the remote functions very well on this machine I didn't experience any issues with it with detection or delay. Aurzen have just released the D1 Pro which I'll be reviewing very soon. Hope this helps you 🙂👍
@@ReviewingHub Thank you so much for the quick reply! I didn't know about the pro model, let's check it out, hopefully isn't way more expensive tho... 😅
Hi, probably the best review I've seen. I have just purchased the D1 Pro as my first dabble into the world of projectors. Nearly all reviews have been positive thats why when i saw the D1 Pro on offer for £150 from £250 with a coupon discount on Amazon i had to get it. I haven't set it up yet as im still reviewing what screen to get. You mentioned you had your projector 2.6 mtrs from the screen. I will have mine between 10 and 12 feet according to which wall im planning on having it on. What size screen would this give me ? Someone has mentioned this new version has overheating issues. It will be interesting to see what you think when you do your review on this Pro version. I for one will be interested to see it. Thanks.
Hiya, thank you for the great feedback. That was a great deal on the D1 pro 👌 Here are all the projection distances for the pro version. 40" 3.95ft =(1.2m) 60" 5.93ft =( 1.81m) 80" 7.9ft = (2.41m) 100" 9.88ft = (3.01m) 200" 19.75ft = (6.02m) These are the recommend projection distances in the user manual. 🙂👍 I haven't experienced any overheating issues during my testing, I had the projector on for 4 hours solid and it remained cool to the touch, and using a thermal imaging camera it remained under 40c which was excellent! I will try to have the D1 pro review out by this Sunday. 🙂 Hope this information helps you 🙂👍
@@ReviewingHub That's brilliant,i literally haven't even looked at the instruction manual yet so you giving me those distance throws is excellent, thanks very much for that and will look forward to your upcoming review. You have another subscriber 👍
UA-cam is already installed on the projector. But I'm not so sure about UA-cam TV. Have you looked for it on the app store? If it's not on the app store, you might be able to download it from a browser, or sideload it onto the machine. But I haven't looked into this, as i just test the apps that's are already on the machine. Let me know if you find a solution 🙂👍
Excellent video as always. I was looking at this projector on Amazon. Looks good, but I did see quite a few negative reviews as far as durability 🤔 what is your opinion on this? Thanks.
Hiya, I didn't have any problems with durability, I had the projector on for 3-4 hours straight and it was very good in my testing. I haven't tested the projector long term over many months, but it was great for me at the time of testing. Just to let you know, the Aurzen D1 pro has just been released, so you might want to look into this model. I'll be reviewing the Aurzen D1 Pro next week, so stay tuned for the video. 🙂👍
So I bought the same projector after watching the multiple reviews about it however I have some issues with screen mirroring via Samsung 23ultra its lagging alot
Hi 👋 this can be a number of factors, your internet speed, the connection to your phone, and things running in the background on the projector and on your phone. It can also be other devices on your network taking all the bandwidth, it's hard to say without trying to rule all these out first. You should be able to connect your phone to the projector using a HDMI cable this should rule out most connectivity issues. You could try using another phone see if this solves anything. Also, check internet speeds you need a good internet speed for watching HD content when streaming. Sorry I can't help more, it's hard to say without being there. I Hope this helps you 🙂
5.33 that was auto focus and keystone.. White screen with the black squares is were it was auto focusing and keystoning. It was super fast at doing it 🙂👍
The Boom 3 is a better machine because of the better sound and brightness output. But for the price the AURZEN D1 is unbeatable around this price point. It's quite rare to get auto focus, auto keystone, obstacle avoidance, and all it's smart features at this price range. It's fantastic value for money. But you will need a very dark room to get the most out of this machine, so try to invest in some black out curtains too 🙂 Hope this helps you.
Oh Wow I didn't know about the P60 machine. I would love too.🙂👍 I will reach out to the company for you and see if they want to send me one for a review. Because I'm a small UA-cam channel they probably won't be interested, and the fact I had a bad experience with the Apollo P40. My honest review may of put them off slightly. Thanks for your comment, and I will do my best. 🙂👍
