Exactly. Who might we see in the finished product? Tom Cruise as Ironman on the Illuminati panel? Hugh Jackman, briefly, as Wolverine? Other X-Men like Quicksilver? A CGI'd T'Challa? Richard Reed? I hope they don't reveal any more characters we haven't seen before the movie actually releases in May. Keep it a secret!

I am always eagerly anticipating their next big release and can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future. Marvel's ability to consistently deliver high-quality entertainment never ceases to amaze me.
Disappointed that so many were like “what?? Who’s that??” When Charles Xavier spoke. Who else could it possibly be??
I think the worse ones were the ones who faked knowing who it was cos they knew it was meant to be a big thing due to the music cutting as they spoke. They would be like OMG and be super vague with their comments and then not mention that it was either professor x or patrick stewart.

I got freaking chills when I heard Patrick Stewart's voice in this trailer, and now I am even more hyped for this movie than before.
Marvel's attention to detail and dedication to bringing comic book characters to life on the big screen is commendable. They continuously push boundaries in storytelling and visual effects, setting a high bar for other studios. I am excited to see where they take us next in their cinematic universe.

Mixed reactions has done it again, and putting Professor X in the opening seconds of the multiverse of madness definitely hyped up us up fully, myself included. Such a gamble to be sure, but a welcomed one.

"We shall tell him the truth." With those words this trailer has garnered more hype than anything else that has come out or will for 2022.
Pretty sure he says, "We should tell him the truth" as it implies that the ones overseeing his arrest are debating what to do with Strange.
Judging by what Professor X seems to say, it seems that Strange's "arrest" may be a ploy by the Illuminati to encourage whoever causes the events of the movie to play their hand (with Strange out of the way). It also may lead to Wanda's seeming to be upset (I do it and I become the enemy, you become a hero).

Elmo hope's that they keep the focus on the main character and develop a story that revolves around him. Not sacrifice the movie for a bunch of cameos just cuz "multiverse" is in the title.

That’s right, a cameo-heavy MULTIVERSE film that can still deliver a great story that will justified those cameos and ultimately make the lead character shine? As with everything, it will be subjective. I mean the majority could end up being satisfied with the end results (as it’s been the case with a large number of Marvel productions), but others won’t. The Cameo fest and a great story told can definitely happen but I don't want a great story not told just so we can have a cameo fest THATS what Elmo is saying, get it? After growing up with that X-Men live action universe and also being a long time Trek fan, that voice was so fucking unmistakable. His cadence and the tone of his voice are so unique. This movie is going to top anything we thought was possible in this universe.

The fight we see vs the one eye creature could be the rumor battle from another universe, featuring a different lineup of Avenger. So that might not be happening in the main MCU universe.

The 23rd reaction is exactly how I felt when I heard Patrick Stewart's voice!!! Can't wait for this!!!!!
Movie will start with a different Doctor Strange and Wong in an alternate universe that's seemingly very identical to the MCU, we are meant to think these are our Strange and Wong. These alternate Strange and Wong are then unexpectedly killed by an unseen force rather violently. These are supposedly the most violent deaths in MCU history, pushing the PG-13 rating. We get to see the perspective of the unseen force as it stalks these alternate Strange and Wong variants which I think is a homage to Sam Raimi's Evil Dead.
-The main MCU Doctor Strange will discover that the MCU is starting to melt. Strange admits to Wong that Thanos was actually meant to win Endgame and that he forced fate to change by manipulating the events that would lead to Tony's sacrifice. The various times Strange messed with reality is what's causing reality to breakdown, including the events of No Way Home.
-Strange finds Wanda and asks for her help. Strange knows everything about Westview and has been observing her. The orchard Wanda lives in isn't actually real, it's an illusion. She's actually living in a creepy forest. Wanda reveals that she has been studying the multiverse, saying there is something in the center of the multiverse that might help Strange fix the MCU and give Wanda what she wants, something that even Strange hasn't heard of before.
-Strange knows that Wanda has been hearing her children calling out to her, they use each other. Wanda uses Strange to find her children, Strange uses Wanda to navigate the multiverse.
-They meet an alternate Mordo who starts attacking Strange, mistaking him for another one. Mordo tells Strange that the biggest threat in the universe is a version of himself who seeks out other Stranges to kill them and absorb their power, wanting to be the only Strange that exists.
-This evil version of Strange is similar from the one in What If, but is a separate character nonetheless. This version of Strange is from a world that has a history that's identical to the MCU, except in this one, his Christine Palmer married another man. After the wedding, she gets hit by a car and dies.
-They meet another Strange, this one has a different costume with a ponytail. This Strange comes from a world where the other half of the Avengers got dusted during the Snap. They never got the people who were dusted back, so this Strange built a new team called the Defenders, inspired by the original Avengers.
-We meet plenty of Doctor Strange and Wanda variants.
-We also get to see the aftermath of the timelines where Thanos has won. This is said to be a rather terrifying scene.
-Evil Strange isn't the main villain after we were led to believe that he is, Wanda betrays Strange once they got to the center of the multiverse, it was actually a some sort of magical totem on a pedestal. Wanda uses it and gets corrupted by the Chaos Magic, it allows her to finally pinpoint her children in the multiverse at the cost of endangering everything. They also fight various monsters across different universes.
-Wanda finally finds her children, but they belong to a slightly younger Wanda. This Wanda is the sister of the Quicksilver from Fox's X-Men universe. Wanda kidnaps the children and rampages through the Fox universe, which is now also breaking down. The Fox X-Men shows up, the three Stranges team-up against Wanda.
-There is no way to fix the MCU and Evil Strange's universe. Evil Strange goes insane and fights Strange and Defender Strange. He ends up killing himself out of guilt.
-Movie ends with Wanda sacrificing herself and her power but is still alive and has to regain her strength from a mental breakdown , merging the MCU and the Fox X-Men universe. The MCU is now retconned so that the mutants were always there from the start.
It's been rumored that the MCU is already post "No More Mutants" House of M style Wanda stuff. And this movie (and the stuff that follows) is a direct way to get the FOX X-Men (and X-Men in general) into the MCU. Whether that means the MCU we've been seeing all this time is the "main" Marvel Universe is another story.

I have to admit I stopped watching the trailer when I first heard Patrick Stewart's voice. I was blown away and told my brother immediately. I think I re-watched it 20 minutes later.

A subtle detail I noticed is at the end when wong is on the cliff he yells strange's name but in the actual movie he says it in a relieved to see him way. It seems like they changed it. I could also be wrong and its one of those moments where they paste a line into a trailer in a spot its not actually said. But to be fair they did change that one wong dialogue in no way home so who knows.
