Out of the three "starlets", Jocelyn Lane is the oldest now at 85, but it's a pleasure to know that all three of the ladies are still alive and doing well as of March 2023! Jocelyn's (#2) response to matrimony was kinda funny, because less than 5 years after the taping, she would marry into royalty by tying the knot with a Prince! Thank you so very much for uploading and sharing this episode! It's great that it's set at Christmas time, too! Let the good TV Shows play on, and take care! Ms. Elizabeth 📺📼📀📺📼📀
Joe Correro is a buddy of mine, he's actually a drummer NOT a bassist! He played drums for Paul Revere & The Raiders, Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds, Helen Reddy, Chase and Al Jarreau. Joe told me on the China trip, he never even saw this chick the entire time-the crew just took him all over Hong Kong by himself on excursions...he has no clue what happened to the "date" as after the show, he never saw her at any time on the trip....crazy...
Back in '68, I was on theDating Game and won a date to a Rod McKuen concert at the Santa Monica Civic. This was about the same time. I know the show number, it sure would be nice to see the episode....
@@GarryMooreFanUA-cam once had a video of a segment of The Dating Game Halloween 1972 episode that featured Vincent Price winning a date for actress Janit Baldwin. What should I do about getting the video back on UA-cam? Please respond to my questions here.
My earliest memories of the Dating Game were the late 70s syndicated version, when Jim had that perm going on. So when I first saw these earlier episodes on GSN, I was like "Dame, Lange looks like a teenager here!"
Two war zones. Hong Kong, which was facing a communist insurgency, and Jerusalem which was reclaimed by Israel last year, but faced the constant threat of attacks by Arab dictatorships.
The prime time version had a larger budget...one lucky couple on the daytime show traveled to Healdsburg, California--honored guests at the annual Prune Festival
I was 8 months old born April 4 1967 😊 I love their natural beauty🙋🏻♀️ no duck lips no clown eyebrows no fillers no tarantulas eyelashes no shiny clown makeup no bbls butts and I can’t keep going on how women look like today 🤮

Joe had grabby hands. He was probably used to female fans who were more receptive; but when Jim said "Paul Revere & The Raiders", Joann seemed less than excited.
I know she really didn't seem to care did she? I would have been jumping up and down saying "who, Mark Lindsey "? Sorry Joe just kidding. What a crazy band they were.
16:50 The movie title that was silenced in the introduction of Salli Sachse was “The Trip.” The bet here is that ABC brass was squeamish about promoting a movie that was centered on LSD use.
I heard that. I know CBS failed to censor Jim Morrison when The Doors performed "Light My Fire" on The Ed Sullivan Show. Even in the 21st century, you have radio stations censoring drug references in "Rock Star" by Nickelback, but not in "Leader of Men."
It's a repeat episode obviously... It's being played on the Game Show Network, which is a channel on cable here in the U.S...If you were a bit more attentive, you would have noticed the commercials aren't from 1968 either.🤣
I don’t know. The style of the closing credits seems to scream 1968. For the first few years the closing credits were a carded/slideshow style with large double font combos (Ariel Narrow for crew name titles on the top with large Tubular letters for the people’s names on the bottom). Then probably as early as 1968 (maybe 1967) it became scrolling credits with the font seen at the end in this episode. I’m not exactly too sure if the carded/slideshow style credits were only done for the abc Daytime episodes or for both daytime and Primetime prior to 1968.

So weird 😅
Is Joe the drummer on the song Get it on by Chase?
@@RustyCrawford-cc1zy that was Jay "Burrid" Mitthauer-Joe was on the Chase band Oct 1972-Jan. 1973
Hard n Heavy with Marshmallow .
The first girls dress looked like Grandma knitted her yellow collar. Was a typical 60s colored dress too. First guy was handsome.

Your best bet would be to contact Sony, they own the tapes and could be a step in the right direction!!

More Dating Game episodes from 60s and 70s please and thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed "The Dating Game" back in the day-A certifiable guilty pleasure!
Wow, trips to Hong Kong and Jerusalem. They must have blown the budget, so many trips later in the show were 120 miles east to Palm Springs, lol.

And their CLOTHES and STYLES are fantastic,..
They're truly all individual and desirable~
What a very different world that was. I miss the America that I grew up in.
When the ladies see Rod, they will be shocked.😳
The editing here is 🔥!
This is a TREAT!! Thank you. Great to see Rod!!
I wonder if he told her he was bi?
@@bubgum00 He probably didn't go out with her. She most likely knew.
Jim Lange was a good and handsome host. Did not see this episode.
When he said bachelor #1
Rod McKuen has some good questions.
The first girl seemed so unexcited to meet the drummer. Weird personality
Yea her questions were just weird! I’m sure her nerves were shot lol

Those Ladies are Cuties 😍🥰 🥧 1968 WOW 😲😳
I adore Rod McKuen!
He’s was bisexual.
Joe junior was a killer drummer. In Dallas, 1960 seven, he rode out on stage on a tricycle.

It seems like Jim didn't know enough about the band Joe was in.

I don't think she was in the moment at that point, nerves probably kicked in 😢

The middle guy sounds and even looks a bit like Elvis. 😊
Joe Jr was so cute 😊❤
Joe Jr was the drummer not bassist. Charlie Coe was the bassist.

Woke ideology.😔😩

I want to ask why we have Family Feud ads in 1968 while that game show first on aired in 1976?

What is Sally's last name, number 3 second video. It sounded like Saffrey or Suffrey, something like that?
Joanne didn't seem like she was interested in being on the show. Her questions were not easy to answer.
I loved being on the show just very nervous. As for the questions the crew helped you make them up. Joe was really a nice guy.
Jocelyn Lane is incredibly gorgeous!!!
The bachelorette couldn’t even keep up with who she was talking to and what stupid questions.
