The Prime X over the Alphafly for me I can use it for intervals, tempo, easy and long runs.. at 1K intervals I think it's as quick as the Vaporfly ( straight line tho ) the AF for very long runs but even then I'd still go for the Big X.. love it's bounce and fun ride I've done 250 miles and I think they'll go 400 to 500 no problem
I have both and love to run long in the Prime X but always want to race in the AlphaFly. The Prime X would be too heavy over the last miles of a marathon race IMO. Never had any issues with stability in either shoe. Stay on the forefoot and they are both fine. Just ran an 18 minute BQ in the AF so looking forward to the AF 2. Both definitely help my legs recover fast with the great foams.

Only experienced LightStrike Pro in the Adios 6, and I like it. Love the Adios 6 in general, mostly due to the torsion bar system (pronation support). All the rest of the current Adizero line give me cause for concern with that silly medial side cutout. But the AlphaFly is the only shoe I have ever put on that made me smile the first few steps I took in them at race pace. I felt like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh and took 34secs off a 6 week old PB at 5km on the same course in worse conditions vs my Endo Speed V1's, in the first time I ever wore them... That was all the proof I needed. The Alphafly isn't for everyone, but for those it works for...wow!
I just did a half marathon with the Prime X at 3.50 per km pace and my last 2k my feet were numb. Looking for an alternative racing shoe, maybe Alphafly or Adios Pro 2.
Hmmmmmmm that's a great question, I'm hopeful for 3-400k.. the rubber is pretty durable and it feels pretty solid. I'll report back when I get to 100k in it :)
@@dokutaaguriin I’ve seen people run 200+ miles and have no issues at all and think they will get 300-400miles out of them so I guess 300-500 Km would be a safe estimate

Yeah, kinda like the best easy pace long run for slow people. w/c is perfect for most people just want ot finish a half or a full marathon.

What is the best (fastest) shoe for two mile races full effort??

I had to send them back! The foam was detaching from the heel, they replaced it with this colorway :)
