  • The Australian water balance model (AWBM) is a catchment water balance model that calculates runoff from rainfall at daily or hourly time increments. The Australian water balance model (AWBM) was developed in the early 1990s (Boughton, 1993a, Boughton and Carroll, 1993) and is now one of the most widely used rainfall-runoff models in Australia.
In this video, the sensitivity analysis, and analysis of the outputs are described completely.

Hi, thanks a lot for your explanation. I have a question, Does this model just calculate precipitation and surface runoff, or can it also calculate other climatic parameters?

Hi, This model does not calculate precipitation or other climatic parameters. This model is just for runoff simulation using precipitation and evaporotranspiration datasets. Best
