How nice , what a great system, and understandably so. One time I was dispatched an outside gas odor, working for the STL gas utility (called in by the public). I checked the gas services & mains for hours in a industrial area of town with outside temperatures below zero . Reassuring myself, there was nothing wrong with the gas, mains and services in the area, I started to investigate the massively large industrial buildings in the area. I finally came upon an old (1960 model ) industrial boiler (big as a city bus) . Found the double block and bleed manifold vent spewing gas out of the relief vent on the roof . The strange thing was the boiler just got serviced that morning . Tagged it out and waited for the contractor 10 PM in the evening.
