I just got rid of solaxx salt system and replaced it with circupool salt system. I did a video on it, Now, with circupool you don't need to change the plumbing if you flow valve is 6 inches away from your filter. Mine wasn't .
I went to the mypurecholor site. 1) it is a pitiful, 80's style low info site. Almost no attention to user service or support. 2) I did not find any instructions, youtube videos, or downloads to do this critical step of resetting the cell. This lack of care for their customers and product is appaling. A hing school intern could cut a youtube video or type up the steps to reset it, but they are not willing to pay $50 to get it done and up on their site. It's atrocious. I don't know why anyone would resell this brand, or buy this brand, if the company has so little care for service. Props to England Andy, doing hella more than the manufacturer has done to help pool owners.
Yes I did , The company is Solaxx and they are based in Daytona ,Florida. I wasn't even sure of the one I needed because it wasn't on there website( which is crap by the way) and they told me which one I needed. If your cell died before 5 Years then you will get a 40% discount and if it was within 2 years I think it was 60? He didn't ask for proof unless it was already registered when it was built. But all in I paid with ship and tax around $480 which isn't that bad. www.mypurechlor.com/system Hope this helps
@@MT-lv7xn I have just been on there website and there is a trouble shooting section and if you can't wait till Monday when they are open you can try to do it through the trouble shoot section and maybe watch my video at the same time.
I bought one from that salt store havent recieved yet now I've read they have horrible customer service and won't stand behind warranty never answer phone or emails
What’s the name of the tool used to loosen and tighten the cell?
It's an oil filter wrench. Cost less than $10. you could probably pick one up even cheaper at Harbor freight
Hand tightening should work as long as the o-ring are in place. Mine doesn't leak.
Thanks for the instructions. Done!
Anyone know if I can replace the purechlor salt cell with intellichlor salt cell without having to change the plumbing?

Just curious why you open your relief valve for so long and waste water. As soon as water comes out it is primed. Just fyi.
If I don’t bleed it through then the pool keeps bubbling

@@MT-lv7xn You know , I really can't remember but if you phone solax they will guide you through it because the paper instruction are garbage.

@@samdavis6591 I get it, you try and save money and still get screwed but you can still dispute it with you cc company.
Have replaced cell 3 times in less than 3 years.Horrible customer service. D
RATED.
I have got rid of it for the same reasons I now have circumpol and so far seem to be doing fine and the best bit is that the fittings are the same
You might want to check you pump, it should not be that loud.
Even if it is 7 years old.?
