(3D binaural recording) Crickets - Wind - Walking

  • Hello everyone,
I've always wanted to make a decent binaural recording with crikets playing first fiddle. Last year, although I made several attempts, it wasn't good enough for publication. I needed more raw material and it just so happens that a few days ago late at nightI managed to accomplish my goal. It was a very peaceful night, not too cold and not too hot. I packed all necessary equipment, and decided to take a long walk in order to find a perfect place in a rural area, where the sound of crikets will be nicely audible and not disturbed by passing cars. Everything was going as expected, until I began to have a feeling that someone is following me. By nature, I'm rather not a very fearful person and always when something like this happen, I tend to ignore it blaming my imagination, but believe me that walking through a deserted place in almost complete darkness can really trick your brain into everything. Now, try to imagine what happened when I started monitoring the sound through headphones with significant apmlification of the input signal :D Huhhh Literally every single blade of grass was creeping at me. I was scared to death, but I have to say that at the same time I really liked this rush of adrenaline. Obviously no one was following me and it was only the result of my exuberant imagination, wasn't it?
I'm aware than this video will not be enjoyable or relaxing for everyone, but I really liked to have the sound of crikets on this channel. You can be sure that the next video will be entirely devoted to pure asmr triggers.
Please leave a thumbs up if you enjoyed this video.

Don't forget to check out my bandcamp profile. There are lots of HQ downloadable audio tracks in many different formats such as MP3, FLAC, ALAC (Apple Lossless), AAC, or Ogg Vorbis. Now if you wish you can download your favorite soundtrack, and listen on your mobile phone or mp3 player whenever you want.

Through the last few years I've been getting quite a lot of messages from people who wanted to start their own asmr channel but were not completely sure what equipment they should choose to make a video in which the sound would be noticeably good.
So I decided to create a list of the most important devices you need in order to start making good sounding asmr videos:
    Recommended low-end audio recorders:
    1. ZOOM H1: amzn.to/20PVdQ3
    2.TASCAM DR-05 amzn.to/1KzNaCX
Recorders with XLR inputs and low EIN noise:
    1. OLYMPUS LS-100: amzn.to/1paBvAE
    2. ROLAND R-26: amzn.to/1R9q7Sr
    Audio interfaces:
    TASCAM UH 7000: amzn.to/1R9qcFD

I haven't had any decent asmr videos showing in my feed lately, I'm picky who I choose to hear from, and suddenly this one came up with the most amazing tingles flowing through my head; really love the video and hope to hear more when you have the time 😊
