Around two years ago I made a video with a compilation of 20 the most popular ASMR triggers. If you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out here: • (3D binaural sound) Tr... I decided to make a similar one, however this time with 10 less common sounds (each one 3-4 minutes long). All of the sounds used in the video have already been uploaded on UA-cam separately in full length. You can find them here on my channel or in higher quality on Bandcamp.

Through the last few years I've been getting quite a lot of messages from people who wanted to start their own asmr channel but were not completely sure what equipement they should choose to make a video in which the sound would be noticeably good.
So I decided to create a list of the most important devices you need in order to start making good sounding asmr videos:

for me, it's not so much the type of sound being made as much as the quality of sounds. if it feels like something is actually in my ear, no matter what it is, I'll get tingles. I bet you could fart into your mic and I'd get tingles.
Me too. I only listen to DOoS and AsmrSurge because of the high quality. Almost all of their vids trigger me, but in the lower quality channels almost never do. I live for that "it's like I can actually FEEL it inside my ear!" feeling.

If you want you can go to mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/rainNoiseGenerator.php and make a customized rain sound. It allows you to add more of the bass sounds or the treble or the mids so it could sound like you are inside or outside in a hurricane.

The trigger at 13:19, the sound of raindrops touch the umbrella, the sound of raincoat rub together, the sound of footsteps on gravel, the sounds of dogs barking in the night...
All of this make me imagine that I'm a serial killer, walking in the rain in the night, searching for a target...

how do you know if you're triggered?? I don't feel any tingling but i do feel it scrape against my eardrum and sometimes like its tapping my eardrums
It will feel like a slight tickle from the top part of the back of your head that goes down your spine. I sometimes get it from movie fight scenes and the like.

I usually feel it at the lower right part of my back. but tbh I find it quite distracting when im trying to sleep so I usually stay more towards not being "triggered" and just relaxing.
