Absolutely wild, I love Warlock and it’s usually my PVE main. But in PVP I was into Hunter, I’ve been playing exclusively Titan the past 2 seasons. Warlock is still my PVE main, but these new Titan gauntlets have me second guessing.

What's likely getting fixed:
- glaive animation cancel, rift pickup, other stuff
What's not getting changed:
- the 90% DR
90% DR is way to much for pvp! Bungie has to reduce the DR!
In reality its the opposite.
We all know Bungie patches the fun stuff first

Actually in PVE you’d go invis, at least that’s how enemies reacted because they would stop shooting while weave walking.
i think thats kinda how it was supposed tho maybe im wrong but if you walk into a different dimension id think the enemies of the dimension you left wouldnt see you but thats just hindsight
I like to think that they could still see you but once you weave walk they just though “god damn it!” Then proceeded to give up and decided not to engage

And that's kind of the problem. We saw this coming day one, they've had this shit in build for six months, and not once over that period of time did they think "wow, this kind of exploit is something we should fix before we release it, huh?"
We know Bungie is ass at what shit they allow to pass release, but I don't know how this shit did past the first day.
This shit is one of the best things they released for warlock. But ain't no way someone at Bungie tested it and just went "yeah this seems balanced" and released it.
They tested it?
They did green light Stasis in the state where it absolutely permafrosted Crucible.
And then Void and Arc 3.0 for Hunters and Titans, respectively.
I feel like Bungie’s testers really have no idea just how strong the average player’s ability to absolutely hyper focus on the most broken aspect of any new thing really is.

Well, antaeus wards are way stronger, reflects literal supers for free with no cooldown. You do have to sacrifice a long-cooldown melee for warlock. And if you use it up... better wait four minutes to do it again.

The glaive animation canceled out the weavewalk animation. Nothing anyone could really do about that. Now there’s a bigger window to do damage.

@@lilkiddballer Because almost no one seriously uses glaives in PVP. The big stick on your back makes you an easy target, and a sword has a quicker TTK than a glaive once you get some ammo for it.

I hope they don't nerf Weavewalk in PVE at all. Seems completely balanced there. The problems are all in PVP
All they need to do is lower the damage reduction in pvp only
they're going to add a cooldown to when you can use anything after exiting the weave walk.

warlocks are just not allowed to have fun man. it feels like after the d1 self-rez with viking funeral combo anything they get thats broken or good gets immediately disabled or nerfed way sooner, than other obvious broken stuff on other classes.
This is literally the crux of being a Warlock. Bungie giving us something anywhere from strong to OP because they didn't test shit before release and then within 2-3 days of it coming out, it gets disabled entirely, but yet things for titans and hunters that are overpowered and oppressive take months to disable and they just let it ride out for them
In all fairness. Up until 6 months ago(arc 3.0) titans got the same treatment, if not worse treatment, than warlocks with this type of thing. We used to get stuff nerfed and disabled asap, which is why i feel for all the warlocks who have to deal with that now.

@@patsonicalfirst of all void over shields was weak they had to receive a buff 2 one hit shoulder charge u have to sprint a mile to charge up and it’s not consistent on impact 3 hoil was really only good in pve but loreley and oem u might be right about

I play solo, I've only been in trails for like 2 months. But I learn what loadouts I should use to compliment the team. Why this person is over there alone. Just, trials things.

@@archaic7643it wasn’t broken it had hard counters that are pretty easy to cast. Any stasis or anything that can proc suppression counters it and they are dead in the water.
It is broken, and everyone knew before this glaive cancel thing. If you can take 5 sniper shots to the head in PVP, you know it's too strong. People are no about to run conditional finality or stasis / suppression just to counter a single aspect. @@MildsandThatYac
I was trying it with boots of the assembler and sanguine alchemy earlier. Healing from boots while in the weave still works and if you have witherhoard etc on with sanguine you can pop into it and your rift will still extend with witherhoard kills.

Cross, I just started the dlc last night and have been running my vesper build from last season with blind nades and arc soul and it's crazy in PvE still. I don't even have all the artifacts unlocked yet and I'm slapping in nightfall this week

There just isn’t a consistent counter to weave walker besides freeze but you can just dodge after to go right back into it. Sucks that it got disabled but it was bound to happen.
That’s just false. Freeze, suppress, suspend. Not to mention it eats through melee charges very quickly it is not infinite. Yes the glaive bug is bs, but the idea that it’s not easily counterable is laughable. Especially because if it weren’t for the glaive it would be purely an escape tool, which is super easy to punish, as you get locked into the animation exiting it and can’t fight back.
How to counter:
Just stare at them with a shotgun
The warlock physically cant do anything

psa warlocks! If you use the glaive you can also use the karnstein gloves because those melee will full heal per kill

Ik this has nothiing to do with the video but i bought beyond light when it was available through ps plus, after the subscription expired it took the expansion away from me. Was that supposed to happen i unlocked stasis but it says i need the expansion to use it and ive kept everything else ive unlocked from the expansion, no time, armour etc
Can't have feck all as a warlock 😔 Of course it gets immediately removed within the same week it's added bc homies didn't care to test things out enough. Imagine having broken pvp abilities that don't get immediately changed, couldn't be me. No fun for us, especially the ones that don't even do PvP
