Great review! Loved the service concept and cozy interior on SAS. I do hope that they could operate more long haul routes when they start flying the A350 in their fleet.
SAS is a great airline. Since it was so empty, if it were me I'd save the points and fly economy because I would get a whole row to myself. But I understand you were conducting a business class review. I love to fly business when it is packed in the back. I feel like I get this best value then. Last time I was in Oslo - Fornebu airport was the main one. Gosh that was 20 something years ago.
That is an interesting thought. I booked this on a round trip biz redemption with a free stopover and open jaw (before aeroplan made their rules less generous), so there was no way to save points on one segment. Also I have found flying SAS is very difficult, they are very stingy with award space, they don't seem to codeshare with their fellow star alliance carriers, and their own flights rarely are competitively priced.
@@GilbertTravels SAS may be stingy with award space, particularly with biz class cos they do the same thing as austrian. You can bid on upgrades from economy tickets. They'd rather hold those biz seats to sell and make money. Austrian is very stingy with award space too.
Turning off the comments everywhere and on the run after your disgusting “Nothing is as Scandinavian” video. Won’t help. We have seen it and will be flying Norwegian Air. Bye bye!
gorgeous trip report! I love the meals, looks so delicious
Thanks, I really enjoyed my time on SAS and really missing a flight just like this one right about now! Thanks for commenting.

Thanks, I would like to fly them again on the A350 or A321LR.
Excellent report mate! Really love the seat - they look comfortable and classy. And the nose camera is a very nice feature, seldom see this on a330.
Yes I enjoyed the cameras, would have been more fun with a daytime flight too. Thanks for the comment!
Another great review Billy. Love your videos!
Thanks!
great video Gilbert
Thanks!
