I feel like it played a big role in my quitting drinking cold turkey 10 months ago as I was retaining then too and haven't craved alcohol once since then.

I just fall into walking like that after so many days of nofap, and I didn't consciously change how I walk, rather I did it automatically. Walking like that feels much more comfortable, and maybe it's your body relaxing into it's more natural state when you start to control yourself. When you start to think well of yourself and you're treating yourself right, it's like your body responds positively to that.

Delve deeper and ask yourself why in every other area of life and the body, we strive for balance. We never do one thing indefinitely, or another too much. Thus we should ask ourselves whether our bodies are designed for this. Men need to stay away from all porn and stop fapping daily, but how does indefinitely holding seed sound healthy when every other aspect of our body has a balance? Don't you think it's a little strange that every retention channel seems to avoid this topic?
When we train, we have rest days, When we eat we digest, we sleep, we wake, we breath in, we breath out. Balance.... We don't practice extremes. Fapping all day is an exteeme, but perhaps retention is too.

The semen retention is not until you die but until you are able to fully structure it in a balanced way. If the aforementioned individual you decide to release your semen is also a practitioner of semen retention, then both individuals will create a moderate schedule on when to release the semen in a more balanced approach in furtherance of keeping a balance in the body, if you will. I’m sure this release of semen will be once every 5 or 6 months.

I've been on SR since October 27, 2022. The other night as I was leaving my local grocery store (lookin' sharp) there was a young family coming in. Husband, mom, and a daughter of approximately 7 years old or so.
The mom was walking kind of in front with the daughter behind her and the hub in the back. I didn't look at any of them but the wifey looked and me and I swear she kind of tripped over her feet and ran into her daughter a bit.
As we passed I heard her husband say (in a rather furtive voice): "What are you looking at him for?"
It's real. Even men look at me and stare and do double-takes. It's weird man...

The hardest thing for me with seed retention is accepting the fact that I don't need anything. Whatever i need or even think I need just comes to me of itself. My thoughts generate results sometimes over night. My health at 74 could not be better. Heart, lungs, liver, kidneys all good. Sleep is good. I also practice the Taoist Male Deer Exercise which strengthens and empowers the libido and creates true wholeness within, I recommend for guys like you and others who wish protect and nourish their seed. A longer life, it goes without saying is another great benefit. But most men don't have the discipline to do these things so die sooner than necessary. Am on my seventh day. I feel happier, more forgiving and more disciplined already. I'm all in. No sex either. I don't want to ejaculate. I want to conserve my male energy. The biggest threat is: idle hands are the devil's workshop. One must make sure to be active and busy with creative things.
Haven't watched the vid yet, but I'm on the back of two solid 30 day stints retaining. Basically May and then June. I didn't succumb to impulse though, it was more a strategic release for what I believed would be of benefit to my body. Anyway, since then I have not been retaining, and have given in to impulse this month (July) every few days or so. During all 3 months I have been training hard at a boxing club, and also partying pretty hard at least one night a weekend, which at age 36 now takes a couple days to recover. But during May and June towards the end of my thirty day retain, I was able to train hard straight after a fairly big night out and this was consistently happening; needless to say I felt like I had boundless energy. It is only now in the month of July while repeating this same lifestyle pattern (and not retaining) I realise how powerful it was impacting my stamina and recovery. I'm back on the horse now. Day 2.
