HOW does a GENIUS like Neil Richardson just go by this world so unnoticed ? This, and other pieces by Neil (Firebird) ARE the soundtrack to action & glamour ! Thanks for the video - Raquel, Marilyn, Ann, 'Liz, & Modesty are the just the images that this stuff conjures up ! Neil was a genius !
I can not get tired to say it, what a genious this guy was; fortunately, 20th century and human kind did not only have Ennio Morricone, but also Neil Richardson.
It's more Stourport-on-Severn (where Neil Richardson was born) than NYC - but I think Neil would have been pleased that his music was so well remembered in that great city.
For looks on these photos I think Liz Taylor has them all beat. Although that naughty one on Marilyn is pretty good too. The music piece on this was fantastic.
I miss this music seeing on Channel 9 here In NYC Now Channel 9 ain't Jack. No Original Programming, Not even a News Station. Someone like Walt Disney or Time Warner should just buy My Network TV
Meanwhile, imagine some low-level tourist trap radio station using at least the opening bars as their top-of-the-hour continuity device, along with the obligatory station identification. Would you rather such were played before or after the time signal, perhaps in the vein of the BBC's "six pips"?
