Oh, what fun this was walking through your yarn collection from Black Friday. Your choices are really quite delicious, if you can describe yarn this way! Your descriptions of the colors are lovely. Thank you for sharing with us.🧶
Ah, I'm so glad you enjoyed all my long ramble 😆 I absolutely think yarn can be "delicious", although that may confuse some non-native speakers 😂 Have a beautiful day!
The best part of this yarn addiction is, there are no side affects that could effect your love ones, it doesn't perish or rot, you don't spend precious yarn money on fuel for your car cuz you can then shop your stash, crochet is good for you, and convenient cuz it is only a few steps a away 😁
So, so much wisdom in this comment! Thanks for sharing! 🥰💚
Gorgeous yarns!!! I feel like I need to take a yarn vacation to Nashville lol 😂
I love thrift hauls because of all the variety in yarns. I had never heard of so many of them.
And thanks for the shout out!!!
If you ever do head this way, I will surely take you treasure hunting! 😁 That would be so much fun! And you're so welcome! ❤️💚
What a gorgeous yarn haul! I especially want to see what make with the cashmere ❤
Ahhh cashmere... What a shock that was to find! I'll try not to let it languish in my stash for too long - do you find it hard to use the "special" yarns? 💗💓
I really love seeing crafters doing yarn rescues. Hopefully, those precious bits and bobs will find a good home in your crafting future. I also love to do yarn and thread rescues since I also do slow-stitching as part of my crafting world. It's all about the yarn. Happy hooking....... and blessings for a joyful new year.
Thank you! Those pieces will definitely find their ways into good pieces soon. You're so right - it is all about the yarn! Happy hooking right back to you, and may your new year be full of peace and all the best parts of life! ❤💗
Beautiful yarn! I look forward to seeing what you make! Have a great week!🤟🏻
Thanks, precious one! If you ever come up this way, I'll take you treasure hunting! 🥰🥰
I can't believe how much you were able to fit in those baskets! The charity shop sounds really neat. If I'm ever in Nashville, I need to visit it. 🙂
That shop is totally worth a visit, IMO, but their sales are pretty magnificent. It is located very close to the Grand Ole Opry, which is a famous venue in the history of country music, so you could justify any purchases as souvenirs 😂💗
What fun to have to fit your purchases into two baskets! You found so many wonderful treasures - fancy finding a vintage tatting shuttle! Thank you for mentioning the podcast where my mom was showing me how to tat… I hope you get the chance to have a go one day!
Ms. Helen, it was my pleasure. Isn't it amazing that we live in a day and age where two strangers from across the world can connect with one another like this? I'll credit you as my first teacher whenever the time comes for me to attempt tatting! Your generous spirit has enriched my life in so many ways, dear heart. 💜💙💚
I know that Cinnamon Stitches adds beautiful colorful yarns with solid yarns and increases the hook size to make a drapier fabric and uses her favorite stitch like half double crochet. Mix it up!
Good idea, Ms. Betty Lou! I'll have to look more at her channel! Thank you so much for the recommendation! 💛💚💙
This was so much fun for me to watch, I can't imagine how happy you are with that yarn haul (and supportive husband!) I recommend Daisy Farm Crafts for beginning colorwork. And I love Paton's Kroy FX, which is fatter than traditional sock yarn. You are such an inspiration to me Mary! Wishing you Peace and Blessings this Christmas!
I will 100% look into Daisy Farm Crafts for colorwork! Thank you so much for the recommendation! I'll have to look up Patons Kroy FX, too! Thank you so much for all your encouragement! You make me smile! 🥰💗
I’ve never heard of Reynolds Yarn but I do know that Townsend, MA. is a beautiful town not too far from me. You’ve got two large bags of Yarny goodness!
Ah, I'm glad to introduce you to something new, even if it's just the introduction. ☺ I haven't traveled much in the northeast. I really ought to make it more of a priority! 🥰
