It definitely lacks a plot. I feel like we didn't really get it until the last few chapters! This book could have been 250 pages or less, which would have been more enjoyable.

I read it earlier this month and honestly it’s ok, I just kinda lost the plot, (I only really payed attention when Lola or JJ were talking tbh)

I think the best way to summarize this book is that it could’ve been a one-shot on Ao3.

i’m in the middle of reading it and i don’t like spice in books but strangely i am enjoying the book bc it’s basically just a bunch of popular kids being goofy asf

I love to watch book reviews after reading the book myself. Just to know what other people think about it.
I just finished Icebreaker and loved you book review. I can share the most of your opinions about the book.
In total Icebreaker is a 3.5/5 Book for me, it was a little hard to get into it a first but in the end I really enjoyed it and could hardly put it away.
Thanks for the lovely Review ⛸️

    **** SPOILER REVIEW ****
This book was a whole lot of nothing. And the figure skating aspect was just disappointing. It’s marketed as a sports-type romance but you could take the figure skating and hockey out of the book and it would affect NOTHING. You know how every story has an exposition, a rising action, a climax, and a resolution? This only had exposition. The only mildly interesting part of the book was at nationals where Aaron kisses (assaults) her, and even then nothing comes from that. She says “im going solo” and that’s it. then there was that weird attempt at an enemies to lovers type relationship except Anastasia and Nate don’t actually know each other that well and she has no reason to be such a bitch to him.
Man, after a point I started skipping pages to see if there was any substance I could squeeze from the book. When she almost drowned I cheered because finally at least SOMETHING is happening. And the epilogue.. It was so mediocre…
I definitely had a lot to say about this one. I went in with low expectations and those still weren’t even met.
