    Hello, glad to hear you produce by ear. I do the same. I'm always ashamed about that but your case has encouraged me.

    I love this video. Thank you for taking the time to share with all of us your studio/setups. I'm also a gear collector/hoarder. Ignore all the negative comments... Just do and buy what makes you happy.

    Nice setup bro! Thanks for sharing❤ People should understand that you are learning a skill. Your video is not produced by SONY! Feedback is good but some comments seem more like a beat-down. That's why I don't share my world. Keep up the progress and creativity🎉 10 years from now, you might be running an Empire. Good Luck!

    Love the setup(s). Especially the main one. I have the xdj1000mk2 with a djm2000 but I've been thinking of upgrading to an xdj xz (or whatever comes after), to get a similar situation to what you're rocking with. Got a ddj400 from smaller pop-up gigs and love the thing.

      @stilomancia  7 місяців тому +1

    Whatever you aint currently using just take it out and put it in a storage lot or sell away. Not enough room in there. Kids can trip in there, animals can chew on cables and get tangled (I'm laughing as I type this)

    • @stilomancia
      @stilomancia  6 місяців тому

      Yeah I guess that is a possibility, lol luckily my kids are grown and have all moved out, so on the bright side I'm the only person who ever goes in there for the most part. But I have to admit I have considered a more minimalist set up maybe one day

    Those acoustics panels ain’t doing nothing other than looks. Read up on how to treat the room properly unless of course you have them stuck to the wall just for looks. Nice wee man cave tho 👍

    • @stilomancia

    • @gsonn18
      @gsonn18 7 місяців тому

      I've read and heard comments from Pros and others acoustic tiles don't do any good but I beg to differ. If you have a bare room and bare walls, the room will sound Echo. If you use these, they will work. Not 100% perfect but better than nothing.

    • @jamesslaven4103
      @jamesslaven4103 7 місяців тому

      @@gsonn18 as you have them in the wrong areas and they are about as good as nothing tbh proper acoustic treatment is a lot of cash when you do it “properly” nice man cave tho

    • @gsonn18
      @gsonn18 7 місяців тому

      I hear what you're saying but even having the best treated room and the best equipment doesn't always get you the best results. Everyone's ears is different and want to hear something different. The bottom line is making a good song that people like, if that's your objective. My objective is just making good music that I like and if people happen to like it so be it. People are proud of their rooms and what they have accomplished. I asked you this question, if you take a bare room with nothing on it and then if you take that same room and totally cover it with acoustic tiles, do you think you'll hear the difference? I'm sure you would. That means they work!

      My studio is loaded with hardware. Especially some of the older gear that I used to have back in the days that I sold but I purchased again on ebay. It's nice to play around with Hardware sometimes, or just use it for a different feel. I was using my Korg Triton Rack the other day and I'm amazed how good that thing sounds. While I can do everything with my DAW, it's nice to have eye candy and toys in your studio as well. Especially if you're old school like me.
