I'm not a Geordie but I always knew about them and thought they were OK. I've recently discovered their gigs in Newcastle from the 70s and 80s and I now think they are fecking brilliant.

Everyone enjoying themselves.....glad I was there at time (on that tour), albeit not in the Newcastle City Hall. Moving.

Fond memories. Saw this show in Leicester I think it was. But Newcastle was always the big one!

It was amazing to be there back in 84 but how must the band have felt seeing the Geordie faithful in full swing?
I think I saw this tour though not at this particular show. I don't recall the extended piano intro to Run For Home. Great live band.
I went to their Christmas shows at Manchester Apollo, probably 1983 & 84? Brilliant band & great entertainers.
