Man, I love listening to you test the dynamics and tonal character of things - makes me smile and buy more gear than I need lol
Your playing is always so great! Sounds sweet, thanks for the upload
Great playing, man, my deepest respects!
Thanks a lot!
I should get my hands on one of those, sounds really great with your playing!
I ended up getting the UK. I wanted the US, but nowhere in stock for a while. The UK is superb. Took a bit of dialling in for my rig, but that JMP voice really has a sting in its tail. I can't believe how loud it is either. I swear it's louder at 1w than my Hotone Britwind at 40w.
Glad you're digging it: I really love that Brit one :)
This is pretty much exactly what I always wished my Toneblock 200 was like when I had that a few years ago. Although I'll have to investigate the US model too. Shame I don't have the budget for both.
Funky Jay - really cool stuff!!!! What about the headroom? I wonder if it cuts through a loud rockband with its 25 watts.
Between the UK & US, I'd have to go with the UK. That AC top sounds like you could get some serious pedal platform going, & the JMP voice just screams! I might need this on my setup =O
Get both, run them in stereo. Don't be cheap :D
@@quiksilver78 I've moved on, I want 3 for a wet/dry/wet rig now. Gotta decide if I should get two of the UK or US ;)
The Top Boost setting is my favorite. And yeah, it is great with pedals. The effects loop is really nice too. My only criticism of the SuperBlock UK is the direct out. Not great IMO, but it’s a killer little amp for under $300 USD.
Huh? I thought this dropped earlier today. I even left a response.
Either way, the UK sounds great, better to my ears than the usual Fendery Quilters--although those sound great as well.
Great job, thanks! 🤙🎸
Yup, your ears do not receive you! Had to re-upload this one because of a small error in the last vid. Really appreciate you taking the time to give in another view and comment 👍👍👍
Nice playing and nice review. Was hoping you'd use the cabsim/ir and demo some of the more gainy / overdrive sounds in that mode for the demo.
Nice touch dood!
Sounds nice
Quilter products are always worth the money and this amp is no exception. Also You proved yet again. What Can't you do with a Telecaster?
just watched both your reviews US and U.K. Which did you prefer if you had to choose? Is the US voiced pretty similar to the other Quliters you have reviewed. BTW great playing as always.
What happened? Did you have to reupload the video for some reason Jay? I'll give you another thumbs up now :-)
This amp sounds amazing - if the feel in the room when you're playing through it is as good, then it's awesome. One subsequent question that came to me is how does it take pedals? Have you tried running anything into it?
I did. Little error in my last one! Thanks for researching and commenting again. Means a lot 👍👍👍👍
@@JayLeonardJ My pleasure Jay, good that you spotted the error quick then. Have a great weekend!
Fantastic
Thanks!
Sweet amp bro
Thanks bro! Miss you man!
@@JayLeonardJ Miss you too bro!
Hmmm. This one sounds really good to me. Like very good.
that sounds great! me want!
I WAS HOPING YOU’D REVIEW THIS! I bought the Interblock 45 based mostly upon your review (and a few others afterwards). Click like like before I watch it now.
Iridium gots some competition
Yeah. If I had to guess, this smokes the Iridium. In full transparency, I've never owned the Iridium, but I do own the Quilter UK superblock and I did own a Simplifier (similar to Iridium) and quickly sold it. To me, it sounded more like a DI and less like an amp and I'm guessing the Iridium would give me a similar vibe.
@@terrillmel Put the Quilter side by side with a real Vox and it wont sound 'better' similar but not quite there
@@vincentl.9469 for sure! But a vox AC15 is 50 lb. An AC30 is closer to 70 I think
@@terrillmel yes, although you will usually still need an extension cab with the Quilter. It's the use of MDF for making cabs that adds weight. An AC15 should not be that heavy. The UK SB has two Vox voicings, AC clean & AC top Boost but you wont get the Vox 'chime' people often talk about, it wont be the same. Close but not the same....
@@vincentl.9469 yeah. The quilter won't be as special as the real thing. Vox could get the weight down to 30 lbs. If they did, the AC15 would likely be my amp of choice. But Vox doesn't try.
Argh, I was suffering from gear lust before, now it’s worse.
I think the real test for a cabsim is to set it crunchy
I want it! thanks!
DId you change the nut on your yamaha or is it the stock one?
It's the stock nut on the Japanese Revstar Pro. I think it is a graphtech 👍
Déjà vu
Yup, haha. Thanks for giving it another peek!
Something seems familiar.
Definitely, haha
