Perhaps not many people are aware but the IEM community especially the chifi iem community is massive
That's true but they don't sell as many wired Vs BT if you think about phones all loosing 3.5mm.
But yes IEM still sell many. But in general in-ears not as much as before every year less.
@@Techtabletswould love to see you cover some chifi IEMS, some of the companies would prob hv no issue sending you review units given your reputation hahah
@@TechtabletsMaybe wired market in general sells less every year, but chi-fi IEM companies are selling more and more. In fact most of popular Chi-fi companies were founded and exploded in popularity and sales exactly in the era of phones without 3.5mm jacks. That's because they target audiophiles on a budget, so people who use them with DACs, amps and so on. Not just on mobile, but on PC too.
@@Techtablets I think the point being made is that you are impressed with these, however you are yet to sample the wealth of competition. It would be great to see you dabbling in this sector now you’ve had a taste of it!
I think it's impossible to sample them all. And then you go crazy almost swapping between them as to which is the best (I know I did almost with BT)
I still am very salty about dropping the headphone jack!
Beautiful unboxing experience!
Same, this is why I still use and have my Redmi K30 Pro Zoom!
I love headphone jack. Still miss it. My mother who is using OnePlus misses it.
Finally the review i am waiting for 🎉
Glad to help!
What phone was that ?
If you haven't tried out great IEMs you're missing out on a $20k sound experience for ~$50-500.
True IEMs are great
How do these compare to the quad driver in terms of build quality and sound quality?
The wire-over-the-ear design eliminates the stethoscope effect due to the wire rubbing on your clothes! Superb design!
Great review as well Sir
Thanks for watching!
Nice for my Xperia 5V :)
Thx for this Video!
You're welcome!
Also my Redmagic 8S Pro.
Thank you for sharing👍
It's a real shame that they don't provide a case like they did with their triple drivers. I still enjoy using mine. The USB-C adapter is a nice touch. I failed to find an affordable one that works well.
CX-pro Dac, Moondrop Click, JCally JM20 are some affordable USB-C adapter. There are more choice if you want to spend more. The keyword to search is "usb c dac"
Are these good for gaming? fps games specifically. I'm trying to get a good pair of IEM for playing mainly tarkov or Apex legends, where obviously it's super important to know where and how far enemies are from me. Budget is 200 bucks so these being 170$ in my country is perfect. Otherwise any others good for gaming?
I'm wondering it as well. sometimes I don't want to wear my over ears. being able to switch back and forth would be great!
The volume up and down(next track-previous track) and middle button(pause), do they work when iems are connected through amp/dac? Also, do they leak sound when listening at higher volumes? They have a bass port?
Hi, no with my dac they don't work. No leaking if you have a good seal with them. And no bass port as such, the 4 smaller drivers and one larger (for lows)
In Ear Headphones or IEMs are not a dying breed. I almost get weekly new samples of super affordable and super good audio quality. 7hz, Moondrop, KZ, Kiwi Ears, Hidizs Truthear, Tanchjim and more also shows there is a market still.
To these IEMs here. The last tuned by Luca IEMs were off by a mile. Hope these are better.
As for MMCX connector I am not a fan. I like the 2 pins better as they are more reliable in my experience. The type c adapter has its own DAC chip inside or is a passive one?
If you are or want to get into IEMs I recommend the Moondrop Chu 2, Tanchjim One, KZ ZVX/LingLong, Moondrop Quarks DSP. They all very affordable under 30€ sometimes and offer also very good sound quality.
Better than the 1 More are Moondrop Kato and Blessing 2 or 3, KZ ZAR and Pr2, Kiwi Esrs Orchestra Lite
Also if you are in Bluetooth some of these known IEM brands do very good sounding bluetooth ones like Moondrop Space Travel, Final Ze8000, Soundpeats Engine 5, Moondrop Alice
Yeah got you I meant in-ears that are wired with in-line controls. Also BT sales are more than IEMs which was why I was saying they are a dying breed in general wirehead headphones in general more BT earbuds are sold Vs wired nowadays. Thanks I'll check out some of those I have a few IEMs from a few years back, couple of KZ ones that were so good for the price that I reviewed just no time for testing all of them.
Lucas tune I thought was a little off with the lows, but once tweaked them up they sound fantastic.
so the number of drivers matter little to sound quality? and it could be worse?
@@zodiacfml Yeah if the drivers are tuned wrongly then yeah. Usually a dual or triple driver setup is more than adequate. But it all depends also on the type of driver and the sound you want to produce.
@@lltechview thanks. reading this, I remember that my cheap Logitech 5.1 more than a decade ago sounds good with 5.1 channel music otherwise it sounds cheap. These multiple IEM drivers could sound better if each driver plays particular sounds or instruments of a track
Thanks for this detailed comment, been looking to get into IEMs without having to pay in the hundreds.
How do these compare with the quad drivers sound?
May I know the music app you are using ? Lovely video btw .
PowerAMP it's the best I think.
Bluetooth headphones last until you drop one on the concrete or battery dies. These headphones will last forever, as these won't fall and they have a replaceable cable! So, they are not expensive
which is that phone you've plugged them into?
k30 pro zoom
Nice to see a multiple/hybrid driver setup *not* using BA drivers. Between these and Sony acquiring Audeze(and upcoming playstation buds), seems like we're gonna see the proliferation of Planar driver earbuds
You can make this "wireless" by using bluetooth adapters like FIIO UWTS1/3/5.
As long as they have MMCX connectors, yes it's possible. Any IEM that doesn't require much power to drive them will work with them as long as they have the same connector
These would sound absolutely nice with my LG V50's Quad DAC.❤❤❤
What smartphone is that with no front camera?
Redmi K30 Pro Zoom. Aka Poco F2 Pro and old phone but a good one!
May be iem ear phones Trend come future
Hardly a dying breed, there are hundreds of wired iems, particularly from China along with a massive market of aftermarket cables and DAC dongles.
Well when you look at the amount of phones with 3.5mm nowadays?
@@Techtablets the wired IEM market is primarily aimed at users of dongle DACs and dedicated players made for example by companies like Fiio.
@@phil5743Yeah I can't see the Monarch MK3 being designed for a phone lol
@@TBMartin with a decent DAC like a Chord Mojo 2, a decent phone would make a very fast transport for any high end IEM
The sony phones, asus zenfone and the asus rog 5 and newer phones and the red magic gaming phones all have the headphone and jack. I use the sony xperia 1 iv with its 4k 120 hz oled display. I wish there 2 display options for the same phones, 1 version for oled and 1 version for mini led. I would go for the mini led display version so there will be no burn in issues that plague oled displays. The asus rog phones have a hifi dac on there headphone jacks. I want a sony xperia 1 vi with the same 4k display resolution but with 2 display versions, an oled version and a mini led version. Give the users more display options instead of just having 1 option. Android has always been about consumer choice so might as well give the consumers the option and let the consumers choose based on preference and use case scenario. I would go for the sony xperia 1 vi 4k 120 hz mini led display and increase the display brightness to 2,000 nits with hdr on the sony xperia 1 vi.
Why they not build à wired headphones with anc support i mind need ambiant mode 😢
I thought years ago 1More had some that were. Well BT but could also be used as wired with ANC. I think they were called the ANC Pro or something I still have them somewhere.
Be honest with me i get confused 😅 witch one is the best 1more quad drivers or 1 more p50 penta !!
This the Penta
Man, if want to go deep into chifi particularly iems, you'll get lost. Can't be sure because i haven't tried these, but there is a whole world of excellent options around this price. It will be difficult not getting something better for the price.
Yes there are so many IEMs all with their Pros and Cons. It's all about finding that fit and tune that you prefer but for me these are second to none. Fantastic tune, bass, mids and highs it's all there just blew me away gave me goose bumps.
Oh definatly lost and then also mad trying them all out.
@@Techtablets and now you have new tech. New drivers, switchable nozzles (that change tuning), tuning switches, dsp with app, etc.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hardly dead look at all the Redmi, poco and Realme with 3.5mm
Yes but very few flagships with 3.5mm. Sony, redmagic that's about it.
Probably the best 1More IEM but definitely not the best there is.
I would bet my flat that IEM's are not a dying breed lol I find your video to be a bit misleading and I'm surprised because you are normally not misleading.
Well I meant general sales. 3.5mm vs BT. These are the best i've heard for IEM. Saying the best there is, yeah okay was a clickbait title to grab attn. But then it was triggering people... Sorry so it's gone, removed that.
@@Techtablets I understand where you are coming from but others might not. The IEM market these days is as big as it ever was, probably bigger than ever but wired IEMs are no longer marketed at people who use a mobile phone. 1More is probably one of the last companies to include a cable that has buttons on and are probably marketed at people who have a mobile phone, so a different market. 1More are behind the times by doing that because serious music lovers no longer use a mobile phone just by itself to listen to music. They also need to send these to IEM/headphone reviewers so their reach and brand grows but that hasn't happened either
The USB-C connector that comes with it is no good. It needs a Dac for sure.
Wired headphones always sounds better than a Bluetooth.
Correct!
Always!!!👌
That depends on several factors.
@@madcrabber1113no it doesn't. Bluetooth is compressed to hell and back. It was originally meant for just voice communication. It's not made for high fidelity audio.
Those are a W bruh
Yeah they are.
Which phone is this
Redmi K30 Pro / Poco F2 Pro
1more doesn't seem to get the memo. Driver count is soo 2019. Tuning and driver quality is everything. Shame can't see their measurement graph
They sound insanely good so Its almost like none of that matters. Crazy right!
That's a big claim. I'll be checking other reviews too for sure 😅😅
Well these are the best i've heard yet.
@@Techtabletsnow this is absolutely fine to put on the title. A little clickbaity but still something you'd stand behind
Wired headphones are not an dying breed lol 😆 😂 so wack they are selling like crazy. Garbage junk TWS battery 🔋 they die can't be replaced cable 3.5mm will always be vastly superior!
I meant this style with controls and mic... Yeah some TWS batteries are junk and die quickly loosing battery life in only a year.
@Techtablets Alright hope didn't come off arrogant thanks for the quick reply. Yeah that's why not spending over $150. $500 for some TWS are so lame ridiculous.
The Audio and Microphone quality of wired earphones were superior. Bluetooth ones are just more convenient and they age better.
How do they age better? The battery only last so many charge cycles. And iems usually have a replaceable cable.
@@twolazy6348 When I'm using my phone I would prefer bluetooth earbuds, they can live for a year at least which is far better than a wired one that would live for 6 months max if you take good care of them.
But the wired ones are better if you use a tablet or a laptop.
@@twolazy6348 Oh they age poorly BT ones the battery life drops to the point they become useless.
The clowns are already taking about removing charge ports and only wireless charging, cashless society and electric cars. Full steam ahead the future is here
Removing all ports is just crazy. Surely not that is madness.
These sound like crap for the price! Go for the FIIO FD11s instead.
All good till I saw the price of them wtf.
Wow insanely expensive no thx
