Do you'll have more comfort on 215/60 R16 compared to 215/50 R17. But I think if you install 215/55 R17, you might get looks and comfort as well, but I'm not sure if it is compatible. I think they will fit judging by the gap in the wheel arch, but that's just my opinion.
If they increase wheel size then they need to add lower profile tyre to compensate bigger wheel. So overall size of wheel and tyre combination will be same as before. So this will not impact mileage reading, pressure on suspension. But lower profile tyres are not suitable for Indian Road conditions. They will get damage really quick and will loose comfort on bumpy roads. Just stick to original size.
