I want the E3 illuminated reticle unfortunately it's not available with this Signature HD. I'm thinking of buying the 2.5-10 Fullfield illuminated E3 and hope the glass is at least equal to if not better than their E1. Is your Fullfield illuminated? Is it daylight bright?
When buying Vortex brand only buy their Japan made scopes and rangefinders since they have a VIP no questions asked NO BS lifetime warranty even on their electronics. Vortex, Burris and Athlon are the only companies that warranty their electronics for life or forever.
Even though several comments appeared to show displeasure regarding Burris Signature HD scopes currently made in China, they're way better quality than the typical Chinese made scopes sold by other popular USA brands. It's actually comparable to the Chinese Athlon Midas Tac and Ares BTR and ETR and clearer than the Philippines made Vortex Viper PST Gen 2.
Good luck come warranty time. Bushnell has an F rating according to the BBB for screwing over way too many of their own customers come lifetime warranty tune which isn't even a true lifetime warranty and can be as little as only one year warranty fir their scopes with illuminated reticles under the guise of a lifetime warranty. Google search Bushnell warranty complaints and Bushnell customer complaints.
The glass used in the Meoptas are stunningly bright and crystal clear and are at least equal to if not better than the Leupold VX5 HD and better than the Vortex Razor LHT. It's light gathering capabilities blows away most sub $1200.00 scopes. You can still see clearly with the Meopta near dark and in the dark compared to most other brands costing 4x as much. Search reviews and on UA-cam.
You'd really be surprised how impressively fantastic the current Chinese made Burris Signature HD scopes really are. Huge FOV and image quality that's comparable to the Chinese Athlon Midas Tac and Ares BTR and ETR that cost way more money. It's also clearer than the Philippines made Vortex Viper PST Gen 2. I personally try to avoid made in China scopes but the Burris Signature HDs are scopes I don't mind buying. Actual quality of Burris Signature HD scopes looks like Japan made for real not joking. You wouldn't even guess they were made in China once you get one of these in your own hands to check out for yourself.
@@johnx9318 yours must be defective, I have this on my Ruger 1022 at the moment, most of not all my shooting is within 50 yards at max magnification without issue. Unless I’m at 20yards where I would naturally have to drop magnification to around 7x
@@ZRUSOutdoorsChannel I don't think so - brand new. At around 100 meters it's fine, but at 30, definitely not clear. The reticule is pin-sharp, not the image.
@@johnx9318 there is no parallax adjustment, so you can’t be at full magnification at very close distance. I usually drop back to 7 magnification at 30 yards or so
The scope looks like it matches the CZ pretty well. I noticed you had the rifle with rear sight on and and rear sight removed. Did you have to remove the sight to get a proper eye relief with the scope?
I was swapping back and forth between my 223/556 CZ527 and the 7.62x39 CZ527. One has the rear sight removed and the other does not. But no, i did not have to remove the rear sight to get good eye relief :)
i dont have an issue on either one of my CZ with the Glades Armory bolt handles. However, i have heard that some are now experiencing this. Have you tried contacting Glades ? (assuming that is the brand that you have)
Sir, would you mind telling me the stock mag pouch and sling you're using on your 527, please? Do you like this combo, or would you recommend something else? I am looking for something that looks nice, but also functions very well at the same time. Thank you.
There's a slotted screw in the middle of the turrets to use a coin to unscrew then lift up and remove turret then put it back on zero and reinstall the screw.
lol these are the "high" factory 1inch, rings from CZ, I didnt have an aftermarket set in 1inch laying around. The CZ527 cant have low rings, by the way.. best it will allow is medium with the bolt handle clearance, and even then, depending on the ocular piece, you may have clearance issues.
The OEM factory rings have a built in recoil lug on the rear ring. They ain`t going nowhere. I run CZ OEM rings on all my CZ`s, never once a problem, IF, installed correctly. The worst that can happen (because they are made out of aluminum), is if the installer doesn`t torque the top screw`s to spec. The scope can slide forward under recoil.
Incredible! This is essentially the only decently done review I’ve seen on UA-cam for the Burris Signature.
Thank you for the good words!

Not only a great review but, excellent video editing as well!
Thank you, Will! I try and keep these types of videos somewhat interesting through the power of editing as scope reviews can be a tad boring. lol

Great video, how forgiving is the eye box?
I tried to get one of these for months- no one had one- decided to get the bushnell 2-10 forge series..

Looks nice, but don’t like that a standard duplex reticle isn’t an option. At low light those light reticles can disappear.

It can't be focussed - thought that would get a mention.
Not sure what you mean. The rubber ring at the end of the ocular piece adjusts the focus

How is tracking and return to zero

Since installing the larger ball bolt handle, are you able to put your gun in safety? Mine seems to be blocked when trying to put the gun safety on.

Part of the issue their massive eyepieces that Burris uses to get the much wider FOV.
