Yes, Jorge, indeed. This is about terrible history but Lovebites always brings positive messages over tragedies like Under the Red Sky or Glory to the World.
I really, really love this song and performance...Miyako headbanging at the end is such a beautiful site. Lovebites are such a special band, My favourite band. 🐺
Love that Gary Moore opening and then it drops into what I think will be my new ringtone. Then it just gets as epic as every song they do. Shredding never looked so good before...maybe it's the lack of twisted faces and anger I see a lot of or just their smiles and joy at performing but the more I see and hear this band, the more I love them (don't worry, Band-Maid, you're still my one true love...)
LOVEBITES - Above the Black Sea lyrics: Age of oddities, suffocating with all of these strings pulling me Fit into the mold of this twisted world This is how it's ought to be Worshipped death and flight, sin to live the night Who are you supposed to be Higher and higher, higher than the Heavens Now's the time to pour your blood and heart into the sky Higher and higher, far above the Heavens Go beyond the silent clouds that promise nothing but the end Time to put an end to this nightmare Cause you have no choice in your hands Higher and higher, higher than the Heavens Now's the time to pour your blood and heart into the sky Higher and higher, far above the Heavens Go beyond the silent clouds that promise nothing but the end In a moment I'll fade away As long as he will bring us a new day I will take this in as my fate Just let me leave something proving my life In a moment I'll fade away As long as he will bring you a new day I am thankful this was my fate Just let me leave reason to my life ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Great reaction. Your "Akasaka" is alright. Akasaka is an area where the night life in Tokyo is going on. Aka means red and Saka means a slope. have a good one.
Nice. I could feel a reaction coming for Lovebites. All 3 songs "The Apocalypse/Above The Black Sea/Under The Red Sky" are all about the Bombings of Hiroshima. This song and Under The Red Sky are both part of the Battle Against Damnation EP. On the cover of this EP it shows the Wolf (Lovebites Mascot) Above The Black Sea and Under The Red Sky. Very cool album cover. This EP is what sold Metal Hammer on giving Lovebites the award for Best New Band in 2018. And this announcement was made just days after the release of the EP The Apocalypse is the 1st song of the 3 songs with this theme and was included on the original 4 song demo that got sent out to Label companies to get someone to sign them on. Victor Entertainment couldn't believe what they just heard and picked them up immediately and wanted this demo to be cleaned up and released as what's now known as "The Lovebites EP" Victor only produced 3000 copies of this EP to Japan and I have one. And the song "The Apocalypse" is very special to me because after I first heard 1 or 2 songs by Lovebites I wanted to start back at the beginning starting with the original EP and track #2 is The Apocalypse and that song absolutely blew me away and was the song that told me I was in for a ride with this band
@@SixxDaze that's absolutely ok that you didn't know that. It's not one of Lovebites most popular songs and was the only one of the 4 songs from the original EP to not get voted into the "Best Of" compilation. I never knew Lovebites had a Thrash side before hearing that song. So that song hit me differently then it does other people
Above The Black Sea is about a Kamikaze pilot. He knows he must do what he was ordered to do - on pain of dishonour as a coward if he doesn't - but he hopes to be remembered for something other than his last act.
Magnificent as always. Not to single her out, but Asami has said that every time she sings she does so as if it’s her last ever performance, and you can tell she meant every word.
@@SixxDaze about Band-maid: they got their first US affirmation today, at the Aftershock festival this autumn, I'm sure more will come soon😃 Saw both The Warning and Nemophila are attending same festival.
thank you for reacting to buried lovebites masterpiece. also, thank you for speaking in japanese. the venue is "BLITZ akasaka" in 2019. it has already been dismantled.
@bone red I want to react to all of Lovebites songs. It is my pleasure. I am trying very hard to learn to say everything correctly. My goal is to be able to shoot an entire video in Japanese. As well as be able to have a short polite conversation in Japanese. WOW! Only three years and already dismantled.
This is a great song. By the way, their live performance at Wacken Open Air, Germany, 2018, is awesome as well. Believe it or not, war is also big business, but just for a few. Somebody said that, in general, if you really want to know the truth, just follow the money.
Thank you for always greeting me in Japanese. However, the pronunciation of "Channel, Lovebites, Above the Black Sea" is not very good. Lol Well, thank you for reacting to Lovebites. This song was written with the image of Kamikaze Corps. So I empathize with what you said about the war. BTW, Band-Maid and Nemophila will appear at the 2022 Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California. I don't know where your place of residence is, but if you are close, please go see it.
@Cat’s Eye You are welcome. I am trying so hard to get the pronunciation correct. I’m sorry that I still don’t have it. I have no idea how to say Lovebites in Japanese. I will see if I can learn it. I live in Texas. California is a long way from where I live. I would love to go to the festival. I’ve seen the list of bands that are performing. It is going to be amazing. Thank you for watching and your kind words.
@@SixxDaze This is a joke that your English pronunciation is poor😂 Lovebites Japanese is generally expressed as a Japanese English kiss mark. And do you live in Texas! Is enviable😍 I've heard that Texas is now a popular place and many people are migrating from California and elsewhere. Band-Maid performed in Dallas last time, so I think I'll go there again this year, but Texas is also wide, so I hope it's close…?
@Cat’s Eye 😂 You got me! I didn’t even think about it until I read your second message. Yes, people from California are moving here in droves. Especially celebrities! Band-Maid did perform in Dallas. It’s about three hours away from where I live. But I will gladly make the drive to see them. A lot of people have a hard time imagining just how big Texas is. Midland, Texas; the west side of the state, is close to California then it is to Beaumont, Texas; the east side of the state. From where I live, it takes about 8 hours for me to get out of the state to the east, west and south. It’s only about five hours to get out to the north.
