Great game and nice runthru! In 2p game, we play with the following variants: 1. Discard 1 Robot card at the end of each round In order to cycle through more Robot cards, at the end of each round (i.e. after each player has taken one turn), discard the Robot card located at the end of the display, then slide all cards and refill the display. 2. Claim Goals in the 1st & 3rd columns only To increase competition for claiming common goals in a 2p game, players cannot claim a goal in the second column (middle column).
Few days ago I got my shipment of Ganymede 2nd edition (+Moon expansion) and Galileo Project. Played Ganymede over the weekend and it was really fun! Looking forward to try this one.
You were searching ways to spend megacredits. I see in the rulebook you need 1 megacredit per card tucked under your board to activate their end of game power ;) otherwise you have to discard them. Ah forgot, great video as always.... please don't beat me Rahdfather!
I was a fan of Ganymede, gave me a similar vibe to Century. Nice to see a follow up game (plus other people that liked it haha). I ended up selling Ganymede as it was a bit light for the usual crowd I play games with, but I definitely enjoyed my time with it and would have kept it if I could. Maybe Galileo Project will be the step up my group needs. Thanks for doing this alongside the Rahd-Father ;) Question, how do you think variety and longevity compare when looking at Galileo Project and Ganymede?
I think there's more variety in Galileo Project. In Ganymede the variety mostly comes from what cards/tiles show up, whereas Galileo changes the importance of certain things based on the set up. Because there are different technology, satellite, and objective tiles, and different ways for the objectives to be laid out, the games will be different even if the exact same cards are revealed.
Rahdfather is awesome.
Rahd-father is here to stay! Time for new merch!!!!

those both sound very smart!
Really like the format! I think we all laughed at the Rahd-father line! Well played, Shea!

The Rahd-Father ftw!
The Rahdfather is excellent...I don't think it's the first time it's been used though :)
+1 on Rahdfather :D Great to hear you enjoy it that much. Did you play Demeter in the same universe?
