pop-up tent-camper bungee tie-down fix and repair

- Our Starcraft pop-up folding tent camper-trailer uses bungee loops to attached the popped out sides to the sliding platforms. Unfortunately, they're easy to break (if you forget to undo them before sliding in the sides.) But fortunately, they're fairly easy to fix with just a few basic materials.
We used:

Perfect solution. This is how I reinforced corners on the tent end covers I made out of king size quilted blanket throws. I bought hog rings for sausage making for the bungee. And I added helmets from my local RV dealer to hook the blankets up top. On my popup, I used the back screws on the travel clamp bracket and on the hybrid I drilled new locations.

Really great videos, really like how you lay our the supplies and the lighting is excellent. Looking to buy my first pop up and as a novice unsure if a toilet/shower is essential and a solo traveler. Traveling to state parks on weekends in Mid-South region of that makes a difference in consideration.

People will have different opinions, of course, but I'm glad our pop up doesn't have a toilet for two reasons: 1) most places that we camp as a family has a public toilet anyway and 2) they can just be a pain to deal with (dumping and cleaning is no fun at all).

What are the metal things that the bungee hook on to ? I’m missing all of them on one bed
Hi there, we just bought a 2006 travel star hybrid camper and love it. But I can't seem to find the bungee cord knobs that screw onto the under side of the pop out. Do you know where I can find metal ones like you did? Mine are plastic and of course they are old and starting to crumble now.
Hi Joshua, I actually didn't replace any of the knobs on the underside, so not sure where you could get a replacement. You could maybe get creative though - how about a large washer over a small nut, and then screw those two to the underside of the pop-out?
First you damage your labber(using long wood instead of labber), Second, you can using burn and melt your bungee join it together by itself. (not melt your ziptie for no reason)
The ladder is fine, and I doubt joining the ends in that manner would create a strong enough bond to hold the bungee together. Have you successfully tried it that way? Would love to see your video.
