  • In this video, I share the challenges I faced with my pin and lock prosthetic system. It's a journey that many aren't prepared for, but I'm here to share it all - the struggles, the solutions, and the triumphs.
Last Sunday, I spent a grueling four hours trying to fit my prosthetic, a task that led to not just frustration but also physical injury. It was a moment of real struggle, a testament to the often unspoken hardships of adapting to a prosthetic limb.
But, there's a silver lining! In this video, I'm not just sharing my difficulties; I'm also showing you an alternative way to put on a pin and lock prosthetic. This method, though not conventional, might just be the solution for those who find the standard approach challenging.
Whether you're a fellow amputee, a caregiver, or just someone curious about the world of prosthetics, this video offers insight, guidance, and a message of perseverance. I'm here to tell you that it's okay to struggle, and more importantly, it's okay to find your own way of doing things.
Join me as I navigate these hurdles, offering tips and encouragement for anyone who might be walking a similar path. And don’t forget to share your own experiences in the comments - let's support each other in our unique journeys.

I don't. I use my wheelchair right now as I can get extremely dizzy at night and don't want to risk falling.
As I get better with my prosthetic, I'm going to use that more frequently at night.
