I don't get why they keep pushing out uninteractive, toxic cards and act surprised when people dislike it. They really need to address wild, now more than ever.
I know why! Because they always want people to buy new sets, new expansions. If a new expansion is less relevant than the previous one, people will buy less new packs and continue using the previous deck builds. Then, they always powercreep just to make you get the stronger and stronger new expansions with stronger decks. And uninteraction is always busted..
@@FolgenNamp You're kinda right but it doesn't make any sense as you said it. They can design OP cards that are fun. Extra turn is probably the most hated effect ever and they just go and casually print it again with the most laughable condition you can imagine. My guess is they thought priest is not a good class for the effect on standard (which is true) but intentionally broke wild with it to force wild players play standard SO they spend money for new sets instead of just everytime crafting the 5 wild viable cards from it.

So they can print all the broken cards and refuse to address it, but all that does is make me buy LESS packs. Zeddy did 38 dmg, and he could have done 44. That's really stupid and it certainly doesn't want to make me buy anything.
I would like more wild content, but that's because I only play wild and not really standard, so my my word probably doesn't matter, but if you do any wild comment, you will have at least one people who watch it ❤
I wish to be better at Standard but always dumpster there. I get high legend in Wild consistently, though. IMO this Dragon Priest doesn't feel too broken
I'm doing really well against priest matchups (including this deck) with my Even Warlock (not fatigue one), and the best part is that i don't face mirror match's because nobody's playing it

Why would dirty rat be best? That SUMMONS a minion from their hand, which goes toward the extra turn dragon and it's a minion heavy deck so that's inconsistent
@@InternetGravedigger there's definitely other cards that's beat it better than a 1/6 chance of pulling it. Also, what's stopping the enemy from just otking because they have a large healthier minion on the board now? They can get plenty of damage because you pulled it.

This is the sort of deck I wish I thought of earlier. The idea is so simple. Inner Fire Priest has been capable in Wild basically since Wild came out, but its biggest weakness was that most builds (i.e. those that don't use Charge/Madness) need a turn to set up. Well, now that turn is free. Zarimi is insanely strong in any Priest deck that can support it, toxic as hell in aggro Priest, but here, might just be BUH-
someone at blizzard was like: "hey guys remember that uninteractive toxic card that no one likes playing against and is completely broken? What if we made the condition for it easier and also gave it a body"
I feel like the only thing even slightly keeping this in check is just the fact they learned from the mage quest to at least add a once per game to it so you at least don't get stuff like using the forge card to get two more extra turns on top of it.
i played 28 games in wild today. Out of them i encountered: 18 agro priest 7 agro pirate rogure 2 highlander shaman 1 quest mage i was forced to switch back to agro rogue because this ratio of just PURE agro priests is insane. (also in 18 games against priest i won 4, so yeah its impossible to play tier 2 fun decks in wild rn)
I played a renathal "golden+ legendary only" hunter and went 23-4 from bronze to plat5. Prolly if U're grinding to legend you're right but id say its possible considering im playing the jankiest garbo and having a crazy good time

Playing a lot of Reno Druid at the moment and I've got something like a 70% winrate. Lots of the aggro decks are really tough matches to navigate but I've found them winable
I like checking out the overpowered wild decks, usually the only ones I care about though. If its stupid, and broken. I want to try it lol. Edit: yup ez turn 6-7 lethal, very dumb lol. I can do the same on pirate rogue, but atleast if they clear my board im not still setting up for an otk. busted.

It's impossible to balance a format with over 5000 cards. All Blizzard can do is ban a clear outlier if it exists. What they really should do is make twist a subscription to give access to all cards in that format and make it interesting every month.
The wild format in this expansion is horrible. I not only feel disgusted by my opponents' decks but also by my own decks because of how toxic they are.
And it doesn't matter that I topdecked second divine spirit with my last remaining card draw and it was enough for lethal as my opponent finished their mage quest

Zarimi should have followed the Timewarp nerf of having to play 8 dragons. Zarimi feels like it should be played in a reno dragon priest deck but somehow aggro is using it...
First games were against bad decks, pally gives you 10 mana in wild and dies next turn, not a surprise. Shadow priest does not interact with board and spends 5 mana one 4/5 and dies in wild; not a surprise. Pally counter deck was close but you made it to 9 mana in wild format and won with an OTK; not a surprise. It’s good but I wouldn’t say its broken yet. For me it would need to be quest warlock power to justify a nerf.
Even my tier7 gonk combo wins by turn 5-7 so i dont consider this one more stupid than wild already is. That said it doesnt mean i disagree with the statement of fixing it. This is dumb and should be adressed
@@MasteroGaming Oh yea a lot of my fav cards rotated, back when darkmoon faire was rotating, was pretty depressed about it so had to play wild but only like 2-3 games LOL
@@KhaledIron I would say so. Once you get the ten star bonus in either mode you can net deck from d5 to legend pretty easily in either mode in my experience. I don’t worry much about getting legend every month anymore. I just play for fun these days
This is a shame because priest is my favorite class when it has a top of tier 2 control deck sadly it seems that priest is always overpowered degeneracy or complete unplayable garbage.

Mark had a version of this with no non-dragons that used Topsy-Turvy instead of Bless.

Dragon Priest is the only Priest deck I actually enjoyed playing in the past years, sad that it needs this kind of bullshit to become good

Problems with quest mage is not an extra turn, but the fact that it's like 5-6 extra turns, because mage has cards to repeat the last spell.

Why Patches? To cut thru the deck easier and get to what you need I am guessing but only 1 or 2 cards pull it out right?

The problem is that since it puts a body on the board it's automatically better than Mage quest, and it has a much easier to meet requirement.

If they made time warp one time like zarimi and then made zarimi 6 and less health it would probably be fine

I personally have a 5-1 record against this deck using miracle rogue, unless they go razorscale into cathedral the MU seems pretty easy imo

i play aggro dragon tentacle priest in standard. its bad but zarimi and the dragon package is decent enough i can still win
