Hey Paul, just wanted to shout you out man! Logan Todd here. Grew up watching you play around town with Amy LaVere. I remember Seeing you at 345 for a random gig and you let me and my sister play the drums between sets. The way you talk about Gregg and Harry inspiring you…that’s how you were for me. Still playing drums and somehow making a living doing it! Thank you for what you do. You’re a legend
Great player serious pocket chops and feel! That recording custom sounds great also and that aluminum snare dry and super nice sounding and I can’t forget the Paiste’s either super crisp!
Dave one of my biggest regrets of this interview is when I mention my first kit the Greg rewrapped- it was actually YOU and Greg! I should’ve also name dropped you! Haha. Second biggest regret- somehow failing to mention one of my biggest Memphis drum heroes- GENE CHRISMAN🤦🏻♂️! Oh well. These things go by quick! Haha. Much love Big Dave!
This was fabulous!! Paul's open handed drumming is amazing! And nobody as entertaining and charismatic with an interview than Chris. Chris really knows how to draw out the interesting stuff. Cheers!!
Groovy beats well demonstrated and nice videography too - great video! The 16th notes using the back of the stick, that's genius. It seems so obvious now

Two humble gentleman with loads of talent! I like how Paul also made reference to George Sluppick. I miss that son of a gun (on the channel).
