    I've only just started to learn how to knit, so have watched an awful lot of tutorials recently, and I am SO happy to have found your channel. Thank you so much. I love this project due to your clear instructions. I made these slippers in super chunky yarn with 15 mm needles and crochet hook and adjusted your pattern a smidge to allow for this. I continued crocheting along the opening and turned the slippers into boots. So happy.

    Hi, thanks for pattern and video. I'm only a very basic knitter but with your clear instructions I am going to give these a go. They look very cosy. In Australia our wool is in ply. From the info online it looks like super chunky yarn is equivalent to 14 ply. The only 14 ply available where I live is 150gram ball. It is fairly expensive. Do you think one 150g ball would be enough for a women's pair of slippers? Thanks for your advice, Judy

    • @JudySmyth-g1j
      @JudySmyth-g1j 7 місяців тому

      Just wanted to add that there are several options available here for 12 ply yarn which from googling is equivalent to chunky yarn in US, but I guess this would throw the size off if I used the slightly smaller yarn option? 😊

    Is the crochet step necessary? I know it makes the finished product look better, but I keep messing up on that step. I'm hoping to just gift the unfinished slippers to my family but I don't want it to unravel on them because I skipped the crochet step.

      The crochet edge is not necessary at all. The slipper won’t unravel without them.

    when i do the kfb i always have 3 stitchs on my needle what's the mistake i did??

    • @sheepandstitch
      @sheepandstitch  2 роки тому +1

      Hmm if you’re knitting into the back once you’ll have two stitches (one stitch is added). Count your stitches before making the kfb to make sure you’re only adding one stitch after the kfb

    Holding out your fingers like holding a gun?? This can only be American. Cast on a stitch, gun, cast on a stitch 😟😥
    Love everything else about your teaching though, I just have a gun phobia.
