Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) President Doug Boles and IMS Museum Vice President of Curation and Education Jason Vansickle take to the stage at Indiana Landmarks Center for a conversation on the famous 2.5-mile oval’s impact on Indiana’s early automotive heritage and its continued influence today.
Named president of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation www.indianapol... in 2013, Doug Boles heads daily operations of the historic Brickyard and all world-class racing events hosted at the track including the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, the GMR Indycar Grand Prix, and the NASCAR/INDYCAR Doubleheader Brickyard Weekend. As curator at the IMS Museum imsmuseum.org/ since 2018, Jason Vansickle stewards a collection of over 200 vehicles and 70,000 non-vehicle artifacts related to Indiana’s rich automotive history.
This event was hosted on April 19, 2022 by Indiana Landmarks’ affinity group Indiana Automotive.
