I just started playing this on my phone today. It's not very complicated. Like hearthstone, you get one level of "energy" every turn (shown on the bottom). You can see how much energy a card costs on the top left of the card (blue number). There are only six turns so the highest cost cards are 6 energy. As far as I know, just started today. The orange number is how much power that card will add to a location. Some cards have abilities and most locations have a modifier of some sort. Win two of three locations or lanes to win the game.
In one game my opponent played iron man on the location that doubles ongoing effects, then played onslaught. So it increased the power there by like the power of six. They had over 2000 power on that location, it was hilarious.
The best part is though the structure of the game makes it so a broken combo on one spot doesn't necessarily win the game. Actual good game design, who woulda thunk it

Heck I’ve been playing for only a week and I’m able to climb halfway up the ladder with the cards I got. You can still build a ton of decks with the amount of cards you get in a short time.
Don't care much for Marvel but gotta appreciate that this is is a real fun card game. Also f2p model doesn't seem outrageous unlike in basically every other card game

Honestly the aspect ratio is fine enough to watch once you get a grasp of what the cards do. It's easy to understand how the game is going just from the pictures without needing any text

12:15 the correct play here, I believe is to rocket and forge on left (in that order), and wolfsbane center. This would give you 7/24/16 which would be extremely hard for the opponent to contest. They retreated anyways, so you still won. I think your play was still a guaranteed win though.
I know im late to the fad but i just got this game, and although there afe many interesting small adjustments, there is something very funny to me about America Chavez going from a strong 6 drop to a 1 drop that only boosts some other random card lol
