Laughed so hard and definitely can relate! So glad you keep it real and don't edit out the mistakes. The mistakes help us become better with learning the CNC process.
I really appreciate that you showed the failure projects as well as the success. Sometimes it's nice to see that not everyone gets things right on the first try when it can take you (me) multiple tries before I get anything right 😅 Really loving this series!
What a humbling hobby. I made my first onefinity cut yesterday. The bit didn’t break so I called it a success. But we learn more from our failure than we do from our success. Keep up the good work sir.
I laughed out loud at the 3rd iteration, and the faux enthusiasm. Anyone with two days of CNC experience knows that feeling all too well. Thanks for the Maketember commitment. I'm copying files from iCloud to local storage, firing up Final Cut Pro and will be happy to add to the tag along the way.
I have watched many channels about CNC projects and I just love how you do things, with the way you explain pricing and stuff. Keep up the great work and thank you for the content Hamilton, ,oh and the new lord of the rings has bin great so far #gotta love dwarves lol
Compressed air would work great on cleaning out the sawdust in the collet. Now, I don’t use a compressor very often, so it is not running. Of course this would be a good time to maybe consider one. Or got with canned air. Just a suggestion.
I had no idea what this was so watched out of intrigue. I have a batch of hold downs that were cut to the wrong diameter and don't fit the tube they were designed for as they were the second run, fair play for showing it. More amusingly, copper appears to be much cheaper in the UK, normally everything is far more expensive here, I know any hardwood is and hard to find stockists.
@@HamiltonDilbeck Grabbed a small piece of warped local Ash from a furniture maker scrap pile, maybe 20inch x 10 inch x 1inch cost around $12, struggle to find retail and can imagine the cost. Why I prefer aluminium, it's widely available. I will enjoy this series you're working on now, I may be inspired to use up the small bit of Ash I have left over from that sign job.
Killing it with this series so far. Also- I saw you use Carveco for the CNC, which pushed me to try it out- and it’s sooooo much better than the old software I was using. Quick question- I’m local to you- Canton- and was wondering what farmers market/craft fair you are referring to? Thinking of checking it out.
Hey neighbor! It's going to be at the new Cumming City Center at the end of October! I'll have more info on that on day 30 in case anyone local wants to stop by!
LOL, out of bad comes good! Thanks for the humbling comedic relief!
You crack my up dude. Great vid and project. May the best Maketember WIN!!!!

Thank you for sharing the not so glamorous side of unsuccessful projects! It does help to know even the seasoned makers have moments too!
Everyone makes mistakes! Might as well show them!
Love the 30 days of projects idea! Very cool!
Oh wow thanks so much!

lol thanks! I mess up way to much not to show it!
@@HamiltonDilbeck I think we all do honestly 😂
I hardly ever laugh at any of the "comedy" that people try but I almost spit out my drink while watching this. Great video.
hah! Thanks so much!
I love how real you are!
I'm a real boy!

This cracked me up. Third times a charm right? Way to hang in there and it looks awesome.
Lol, sadly it happens often

Thanks, thats so kind! And I agree, I personally have been enjoying it!
Loving this series! As a newcomer to the Onefinity CNC game these projects are getting the ideas flowing.
Great to hear!
That's actually a very clever idea. I like it.
Thanks!
Hey hemilton - i really love your way of making your funny contents!❤
thanks so much!!
Oh the pain of running a job to find the fit was not right. It’s all part of the fun with CNCs! Third times the charm though!
Killing it Hamilton. Keep it up
Thanks brother!
Thanks, super cool

Oh my god!!! Can you please do this for like the next 720 days?!? I absolutely love this and can't get enough!
I think I would go absolutely crazy, lol
Oh the trial and errors of designing… 💙
"only 1 maketember can win" hahaha

Thats interesting! Yeah copper is very expensive. Thanks for the comment!

Very cool project! Mrs. HB Builds wait about the same amount of time for her projects. 😅
Lol, thats great
I make no mistakes take two. 😂
What dust boost are you using with the magnetic holder.
The dust boot is the Suckit dustboot on Onefinity's website and the magnetic plates are from Huntington Builds (linked in description!)
If you used a 1/4" bit, couldn't you speed things up significantly by using a 1/2" bit instead?
For sure
