It was a battle between the two best teams in the NFL. For a while, the NFC Championship game meant more than the Superbowl. This was when the NFC always blew out the AFC in the Superbowl.

Lowest point of my life in the 92 season, I was in the Dallas county jail we were all quiet when 49ers marched down the field to score and get within 4 points, when Aikman threw it to Harper it was so loud in their it sounded like a riot had started.

Have you ever watched the America’s game about the 92 Cowboys?
I think the most interesting part about that whole play is the way that Michael Irwin described it saying that he and Harper switched spots and then Troy Aikman says that them switching they got the right coverage to hit that play. I wonder how different that looks if Irvin goes where he’s supposed to go on that side to run the slant

1:58: This is just a great visual that CBS captured with the Cowboys and the 49ers literally face-offing off in the middle of the foggy field. It's like we're about to watch a wild west shootout. And of course it's elevated by Pat Summerall's booming, God-like voice and narration and Frankie Vinci's thrilling and dramatic "NFL on CBS" theme.

Montana would have played similar to his losing effort two years prior against the Giants as their defense was similar to Dallas. You could see Young running for his life, extending plays. As well as hitting receivers right on the mark, sustaining drives. His first INT was horrible but it ended up not resulting in points. The second INT was forced as they had no choice but to throw the ball. I thought this was one of Young's best games, all things considered.

Yep, a ticky tack holding call that had zero effect of the play. That great TD pass and catch would've set the tone

@@BrownBomber92181 Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve……if the dog hadn’t stopped to shit, he would have caught the rabbit. Just wondering, what’s your excuse for the ass kicking the Cowboys put on the 49ers in the NFC championship game the next year?

A niner had stated the road to the superbowl went through candlestick park. After the game big Nate Newton thanked him for the directions. It should have been 4 in a row the 94 game was cowboys vs. 49ers & refs.

    Dolorosa derrota 🥺
Ya sin Ronnie Lott a la defensiva se notó falta de un líder, Dallas ejecutó su libro de jugadas, aprovechó los descuidos y ganó. Tarde muy triste.

With the city of San Francisco becoming a sh|thole, the 49'ers is the only thing they can be proud of now. Cowboys fan all the way but I have to admit the 49'ers are an awesome team.
