Even if you do hit them in the back, that zweihander is still gonna wreck your shit with the momentum that's already going.
Oh, of course a spin will hurt me, but the spinner is hurt worse. :>
@@roffels11-gamingandhistory69 no, no their really not, getting poked by a rapier is much more preferable than getting slammed by something that heavy and able to pick up and carry through so much momentums
It particularly makes sense for greatsword users since historically they were often in the vanguard used to break up the adversary's pike formations.
So a move set that allows a wide area of effect while advancing efficiently would fit them perfectly.
Congrats to this guy on the community he has built this is the only sword related comment section I’ve ever seen where people generally seem to have real knowledge on the topic.
I would love to use this concept in a game somehow, probably implement it as a more committal version of the spin attack from Zelda, so that you have an attack that's great versus groups but struggles against singular enemies
I want MMOs and RPGs that let me swing two-handed swords as gracefully as this man
Your Gigachad body language never gets old for me.
I'll make sure to remember this the next time I get into a duel
This man will be an asset once the rat men started to rise up
You have Gregory Peck’s looks, Matthew Broderick’s geeky charm, and the skill of Donald McBane
I love this guy. He literally answers all of us mens questions that we think about as we try to fall asleep. Keep up the good work
This man woke up this morning and couldn't find the highest waisted pants he owned, so he just had to wear those ones💀
I'm officially down bad.
I didnt know Clark Kent is a sword practitioner
So it does actually make sense for Garen's spin to win strategy!
Been watching these shorts the last few days. Very cool to learn how swords were used and the techniques behind them. I never thought this much thought went into their design/use
The combination of niche knowledge, a very nice physique, and smoldering nerdy hots hasn’t made me this sexually confused since seeing Henry Cavil shirtless.
You ain’t confused my dude. That’s just what you’re into.
I wish elden ring have that R1 attacks from greatswords.
Kinda has an ash of war that spins
In Warhammer Fantasy 4e, I made a Brettonian Errant Who's entire focus, is the longsword. Did he already win two jousts? Yes. Did he dominate against a Pegasus Knight Commander and break his arm? Also yes. Did he end up being mentored by said knight? Yes. Did he end up along with another errant discovering a conspiracy of hirophants and traitor knights? Yes. Did he charge a bridge full of hirophants holding back loyalist knights? Oh hell yes, he is a bloody linebreaker.
I said longsword, meant greatsword. I irl am trying to learn the longsword.
Bretonnia…gross.
@@theoneandonlymichaelmccormick Better than Imperial bastard with their fire arms and lack of chivalry! Jk jk both are awesome XD
@@theoneandonlymichaelmccormick Hell IRL I practice archery.
@@alendonvaldor5808 Yeah, I’m just messing with you.
I was gonna say something until I saw that second swing...I'm taking my +2 Mace and leaving quietly 😂
Bro is a medieval crip
Mental blue screen for a solid 40 seconds tryna decide whether those pants were dorky or the coolest shit ever and I want a pair now
Please add more spinning to your videos. I found it hilarious.
This guy seams chill until he spins and you look up at you headless body 😂
Nerd and jock at the same time, peak human
Link would be proud
Great sword wielder: "They have me surrounded! Those poor bastards..." 😂
I love that this guy makes videos on weapons when... he looks like a main character on startrek.
Oh my god he looks majestic with that move
The squeak on the grass when u spun was hilarious
I like how the spin is so fast his glasses dislodge slightly from the centrifugal force and he has to geekily push it back up his nose afterwards.
The fact this man is wearing overalls and glasses and still looks badass is giving ofd some powerful energy
Shirtless with suspenders would be more educational
Most entertaining justification I've seen for IRL "Spin2Win".
Now I truly understand why anime characters with greatswords flying and spinning across when fighting
Oh my God, in the last part you spin that thing as if it’s made out of feather! So very impressive and mesmerizing to watch
If this guy comes at me spinning that huge sword around im fucking running. So would say its quite effective.
this fit looks great on you
I've always adored the rapier/dagger combo. A long thin rapier in one hand and a short dagger in the other
Thank you for showing this off. I hate when people write off spinning even when considering Greatswords and Warswords.
Momentum is important to carry! Spinning and momentum are best friends!
Beautiful technique. Looks effortless
