  • The 2120 Kia Sorento (MQ4) 4th generation was officially unveiled through a series of images on February 17, 2020.The production version was supposed to be unveiled at the March 2020 Geneva Motor Show, but it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak.
    The updated Sorento sports a larger design with an extended wheelbase (35 mm (1.4 in) longer) while the vehicle's overall length is extended by 10 mm (0.4 in). There are two engine options: a hybrid (a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and single electric motor, amounting to 227 hp (230 PS; 169 kW) and 258 lb⋅ft (350 N⋅m; 35.7 kg⋅m) of torque) and a traditional gasoline-only engine (a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, matched with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, output at 281 hp (285 PS; 210 kW) and 311 lb⋅ft (422 N⋅m; 43.0 kg⋅m)
    the all-new Sorento will be offered in several different trim levels: LX, S, EX, SX, SX Prestige, and SX Prestige X-Line (the previous entry-level "L" model has been discontinued)
