    Call286 v2 Board (Github) - github.com/call286/AmigaSID
    v1 Build / Test / Hack - ua-cam.com/video/A8eNWn31RCM/v-deo.html
    DeliTracker2 (2.32) - aminet.net/mus/play/DeliTracker232.lha
    DeliTracker2 (2.34) - aminet.net/mus/play/DeliTracker234.lha
    Frodo - aminet.net/misc/emu/FrodoV2_4.lha
You need to install DT2.32 first, then replace the executable with 2.34.
Finally copy the C64SID player from Frodo into the players directory in DT2.
Or you can use the modified one linked below for the $EE range.

    Hi Chris, quick update.
Wayne is getting stronger, but it will take some time yet.
Sadly, our system was hacked into by one of those "Clear You Phone" Apps.
Wayne suffers from Post Combat Stress Disorder. It broke the camels back when their were stories of Wayne passing away.
It will take both of us time to get over this awful situation. I NEVER STATED WAYNE WAS DEAD. We are just so confused this end.
We will not say anymore over the comments section, as we feel it still cannot be trusted.
    Nina & Wayne

Yes, a SID Card is nice for a computer, but for the Amiga it must be bit overdone, the Amiga must have better sound capabilities then the C64 some decades ago.

That's just it though, ask anyone who owns and uses the SID, the SID sound from a real chip can't be beaten. In my case here I am using the Nano Swin SID, so its "emulated", but it sounds way better than Paula can emulate the SID!

Armsid is good but also probably the most expensive sid replacement.

The FPGA SID gets that badge I think, but yes the ArmSID is a bit pricey - sounds almost as good as the FPGA SID though imo!

I find the ArmSID is better than the BackSID... overall great to see you are able to play SID tracks on the Amiga. 👍

Hello, I built two of these v2 cards myself and just wondered a couple of things :)
#1 - Regarding your cable, I did not put a 1k resistor on my cable that I use to connect it to the motherboard, is that recommended to do? As I have L/R inputs on the A4000TX motherboard to mix in external sound source with Amiga sound output I hooked up sound output from the SID card to both L/R on the TX and ground from the SID card to the ground input for sound on the TX. I do get a lot of static background noise when not playing any SIDs to the degree I am considering a switch for the sound cable to disconnect it when not using it, thinking will the resistor fix that static noice since your card does not seem to generate backround noice?
#2 - I did not understand the part after you created the cable where you sketched out a drawing of a circuit, can you summarise what that was about? :)
#3 - I did not use an amp, is that necessary, I think the sound level is fine as is, not quiet at all I think? :)

The amp and resistor aren't required when fed into the audio input (CD AUX) on the 4000! It's just needed on the 2000! The noise could relate to the lack of power filtering on this card, it might need a trace cut and a ferrite or inductor putting inline somewhere. You may find that the noise is improved somewhat by adding a low value resistor instead of 1K.

@@GadgetUK164 thanks for the answer! 👍👍 I will test a 100 ohm resistor or something around that value on a cable. Or do you mean replacing the 1k resistors on the board? Unfortunately the noise it picks up seems to be from the bus. Will try in my A2000EATX too once I have a case for it.
