You're lucky to have that open ground so close by for early training. I'm pretty much in the hills and brush inside that short distance.

I had to go to the ocean to find it. Other than that I usually pick schools or parks with soccer, baseball, or football fields.

@DanzaLoft Around here they seem to think that parks and sports fields must be lined on all four sides with trees to constitute being such a place. Lol

@@josephdasaro4368 so this years group had some birds who were lazy and didn’t want to fly and route which taught the other birds they didn’t have to either, Which is a crucial step in them learning to use their navigation skills. So I had to force them to do it by taking them short distances in different directions and wake them up. Fortunately it worked and it got them to go routing a few times and then we slowly went to further distances which I’ll keep increasing now.
