What a voice!!! Was surprised never heard of him....love to hear new voices !!! Could you please react to KZ tandingan singing her version of "say something" on the singer competition its amazing or maybe you have already and i missed it...anyways thank you introducing a new artist ...stay real and healthy!!!
ok i totally agree with this opinion. for me, it's 2 things. first of all, it feels like he isn't singing as strongly (because he's using a lot of headvoice/falsetto) as he does in many of his other songs. the second thing is the timing and pitches feel off for some reason. I'm not a skilled enough musician to be able to definitively say "he is not hitting the right notes" or "his timing is off," but for some reason this version has always felt just a little off in certain parts. I'm curious to know if these are the same things youre thinking of, or if there are different reasons for your opinion.
His Blackbird cover is great and also shows his range very well. Voiceplay has some great songs to choose from. Their Little Mermaid Medley, Boy Bands in 5 Minutes, Queen in 5 Minutes, Kiss, and Warriors just to name a few.
If you love Geoff low bass then his latest solo cover songs are Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone & Way Down originally done by Elvis. Geoff even has moves in this one. Also his cover song Shenandoah. Geoff usually has clones of himself singing in harmony with himself. He is amazing.
"Excuse me sir, you dropped your lunges." 🤣 What's funny, is that this isn't even his whole range. His range is C1# - A5, and that's only counting held notes, not weak hits.
his full range is C#0/Eb0 to whatever his highest note he's ever hit is also his new range for the notes he's held would be B0-A5 cuz he hit a super brief B0 in this song right before the C#1
@@YtprophetWZ You mean C#1. B0 is one note lower than C1. There are super fans of Geoff's that have been following him for years, and have analyzed all of his recorded and live stuff. The latest didn't count the B0, because it was so brief.
@@athlov ik they're his lowest fry notes they're in his video called how to sing low your questions answered marcello bass and p j s already proved he fried these notes
@@YtprophetWZ the sub C#1 was a split second. The intended note is E1. Yes the B0 is fry. Which almost everyone can do. Unless it's chest-fry, plain ol fry doesn't really count in my book bcus it's basically limitless.
@@hopelessant8992 yea ik I'm not saying it counts unless u make the fry sound really good but he still hit the C#1 so I personally would count that like a lot other people are
@@hopelessant8992 it actually isnt fry but same concept. If you know how to do subs you can actually do very unsupported subs and it's also limitless. So we should invent a word for it. How about Sub-Fry?
As a Radiohead fan I hate this song lol because it shows nothing of what they would move on to accomplished what they accomplished with ok computer(one of the greatest albums of all time if not the greatest) but putting that aside this was a really good cover.
Lovely Headlights and smile, dear :) Try HOME FREE (5 man acapella...think Pentatonix talent...suggest RING OF FIRE and/or END OF THE ROAD) Thank you very much, Duke
Geoff's big thing these days is to clone himself into his own backing group to sing all the parts of the harmonies he creates. This is one of the exceptioms to that but it's still amazing. He did this because he said it meant a lot to him. I don't know why.
"High is not really the right word"
"And dry is never the affect" 😂😂
😏 - G
His reaction to that too 😂😂
“Right... (wait what) ok.”
Thanks guys. The one where he hits some pretty high notes is Oogie Boogie's song. And it is so much fun👍🏻👍🏻
he hits the same high note in here its just chest voice in oogie boogie
I saw that one on the ""charismatic voice" hilarious!! Very funny!!
@@Lilygirl283 It is brilliant👍🏻👍🏻
See how you cope with Country Roads.. it or rather he is a thing of beauty.
Yeah Blackbird is great. His cover of Headless Horseman is great. Voiceplays cover of Ooige Boggies song from nightmare before Christmas is awesome.
Try "Headless Horseman" by Geoff Castellucci next time. :-)
Loved the Headless Horseman by Goeff
@@Zentrix-24 agree. His low range in this song is outstanding
I call Geoff, Mr. Sub Bassman, one of the best bass vocals I've ever heard, and his range is surprising !!
Nice! Next reaction should be Geoff's 'Blackbird' cover, you will be able to enjoy his range in that video! ;3
Sixteen Tons cover by Geoff Castellucci he recently came out with is absolutely INSANE. I highly suggest checking it out if you havent already
Geoff can sing very high in chest voice, check out oogie boogies song for that
Y'all Need to give HOME FREE a Listen, as well!!!
im loving this. More Goeff and voiceplay please. HIGHLY recommend "Oogie boogie" and "You're a mean one Mr grinch" from voiceplay
Surprise you? Mr. Geoff “Five-Octave-Range” Castellucci? Well it just might happen, you never know....

How's your butter, Ginger? Churned? 😜 🤣 😂
Always 😜 - G
Just subscribed ! More Geoff and Voiceplay, please!!! 😊
Like many of the other commenters I recommend Blackbird. Also recommend VoicePlay's, Queen in 5 Minutes.
Its a good song, but not his best solo work in my opinion. You should try his cover of of Paul McCartney's "Blackbird"
I respectfully disagree. But I do in fact see why you think such.

Warriors is da bomb! So intense and dramatic. Their best.
Amazing react.....i think, you should react Blackbird covered by Geoff, next
You guys should really check out Geoff's cover of 16 tons!!!!

If you like this one. Try him singing blackbird by the beetles.
You dropped your lungs....what a great phrase
He,s just released a version of Sixteen Tons!!
Would definitely agree with everyone else. Blackbird or Headless Horseman are definitely worth checking out next!
Good one Basil!!👍👍👍
Thanks Snapdragon

I would love to see a Floor Jansen Geoff Castellucci collab

Geoff said his wife asked for him to do Shenandoah, which he did. He did this one for himself.
