Ang mali ng Canada (na dati mali din ng Amerika, pero now inayos na nila) is they allow people to convert their tourist or student visa to work visas later while already in Canada. That will be abused just like it was abused in the US some 20-30 years ago. Dapat kada visa clear ang purpose. If may iba kang pakay, umuwi ka muna and re-apply for the proper visa. Its all about intent. 99% ng foreign students ay di naman talaga pakay mag aral (iba tatanda na 40's na) ang pakay nila mag stay, work and hopefully become a PR.
I bet to disagree. Kung yung mga pinoy n nauna dun ay citizen n they have the right to demand and to exercise what is right for them. Kya wag entitiled ung mga is at tfw because you dont have the rights.
What are you talking about? Lots of educated permanent residents of Filipino descent here including myself. Reality is the mass immigration brought problems and abuse here costing us here and it’s not just jobs but housing price escalation etc plus long lineups at doctors offices and health labs. Of course Canada will prioritize the citizens first and Filipinos have to obey. Our country our rules. Instead that I feel sympathetic, I just feel you guys get what you deserve trying to jump the queue with this ludicrous comment. Canadians don’t want to be victims in their own country!!! So they have to bring in policies that will ensure that the citizens are protected and their opportunities assured first before taking in targeted immigrants from diverse countries not just one block of people.
