LOVE these overview videos of the entire catalog! Especially from 1990 & after, cause I`m not at all familiar with any of that. Thanks for all your work on these great videos.
At 14:48 Wetsuit in the Black and Yellow looks cool. Great continued work going over all the figures and more in each year of the GI Joe classic line, Mike! Thanks. While I don't have the figures, I have them in flat form in the Art of GI Joe giant book, so I'll go over those pages again next chance for this series. Thanks!
6:54 They did it that way so they could have the two missiles shoot out at the same time and split apart but only require one mechanism. The bottom missile is the one propelled and it pulls the top one with it and then they kind of drift apart in the air. This is just an example of Hasbro being creative with their cheapness.
I loved the 1992 figures. A very low key year before the onslaught of '93! I had 90% of these as a kid - just had to pickup the Super Sonics, Toxo-Zombie, and Air Commandos as an adult. I'm still missing Air Devil (not paying $200 for it).
Have watched most of these GI Joe videos, think this was the first time I haven't excitedly thought to myself "I had that", must have dialed out at this stage from GI Joe, was 11 years old though.
I hated those gimmick weapons. Just makes everything cheap. I prefer the weapons and backpacks. Not the cheap out of oversized launchers. For the vehicles fine to have things that shoot. But overall most of us enjoyed firing the missals by hand and not a trigger gimmick. Using the imagination was far better
I was still getting them, but it was starting to slow down. I was going all in on tmnt by this point and X-men toys were right around the corner. Edit: Fun fact with the C.O.P.S. line,Beachhead's son was a member of the team. Checkpoint was his name. Edit edit: I had the first release of the recalled Roadblock. It didn't have a ripcord, you would wind it up. It was recalled cause the ring around the blades would break off(that's what happened to mine) and the blades would have sharp edges. I would just get out of the way when it was lauched.
Mutt V3 is in slaughter’s marauders color way again. BBQ v2 was also a marauder. Talking battle commander Overkill you can open his clear chest piece and it has a flip down double barrel blaster.

I bought a couple street fighter 2 Joe's, but yeah all these 90's guys are foreign to me 😅
I had about 40 90s figures for a while and knew they were not as bad as most say while offering some cool ideas
@@arctrooper999 Yep so many of these escaped my collecting over the years also I had to put name tags on them when I got them LOL
The year I graduated high school… You’ve got quite the Joe collection there, Mike.
It took a while and $ome money but well worth it
The sheer number of SKU’s Hasbro had for GI is mind boggling.
There is no toy line with as many "characters."

Cool info that makes sense now but I dare not try I will lose something
Very cool & I love how the guns kept getting bigger lol
It was just insane and no joe could properly hold them in real life LOL

Yep I agree this was an affordable year but 93 and 94 break the bank
Great overall scope of all these figures. What a wide range. I never got to finish all my years yet. But slowly they will get closer
I suggest to just pick a year, make a list and search daily til you find the deal

I also never had any as a kid but I figured if I completed so many other lines why not Gi Joe

I just figure they were no longer targeting us but the next generation and copied the competition

Good info on Checkpoint! Yep I saw that when I found a pic to show and WOW that thing goes for serious $$$$

Thanks I was drawing a blank as these figures are not what I think of with the characters
Where are some of the best websites to shop for these? And also what stands do you use or recommend for the figures? Awesome videos!!!
Ebay is the best for vintage just find a seller willing to combine shipping and work on price. Stands here amzn.to/3OmoTEE
the quality of the plastics really seemed cheaper by this gen
Figures feel fine to me but the strange accessories feel cheep
The price of nostaglia is insane love flourescent orange roadiepig
There are some gems and some I wished I passed but happy to show the entire run of Vintage Joe
A lot of great figures Mike, I dislike the sonic commandos guffy sounds backpacks...😀💡✌️
I almost collected the line without those but they really did not add to the cost much so figured oh well
G.I.joburg Has a way to fix those figures for the ninja force
Thanks gotta check it out
Is that oval thing that comes with Road Pig something to hover on? It looks like it has pegs.
Might be need to look into that
Barricade should've been with the D.E.A, I don't understand why he wasn't in the group?🤔🤷🏾♂️
Good point not sure why
